The servers have only just woken up and waiting for the coffee to kick in.
Doesn't matter how speedy mine is, it's like, really late here now and even if I get it in 5 minutes I'm not going to be able to test it, that will give you all ample time to find where they are hiding the new Python and let me know!

For what it's worth, I stepped away from my PC for 10 minutes, Steam was running, Elite launcher was not. Came back, Manage updates had the Elite update in the que. Sooo, doesn't seem launcher or restart of Steam are necessary.
Ugh. I just did the math - once I'm home (which will be just shy of two hours from now), the update will take 45 minutes to download. On the bright side, that gives me time to make some dinner so I don't starve because of a dumb game update.

You have to press the UPDATE button! Please just have it auto-start... of course I want the latest update... there is no other option! If I have the launcher open just start the download when available!
(Also YES I want to use my steam log on... my only logon) If you must make a launcher between steam and the game at least make it as thin as possible!
