This is frickin' hilarious. The one thing that would really put this over the top would be to add Salt as a market commodity in game.

That's exactly what I'd thought when I saw that very message. It's not like the servers are connected to the PC servers, or likely they will be offline during the event.

I love jokes, but everything has time and place. I love that they are FINALLY rolling out the hotfix. Couldn't it have been left at that? What's the point of referring to the community outrage on pretty much all social media simply as "salt"?

Frankly, that one little joke made me wonder if that's why they're taking so long with fixing their game. After all, what's the harm? They'll just be salty at most.

So yeah. I really couldn't take this joke after seeing the storm post 2.3 release.

Regarding consoles.. I think the issue isn't FDEV as much as Microsoft.

FDEV stated in the past that because of the way xbox regulates patches and updates, they have to take a much longer route. This isn't a problem for PC/MAC, so updates can be published as soon as they're ready.

2.3 locked some Xbox players out of the game.

Our patch to fix that doesn't come till AFTER the event begins.

It certainly feels that way sometimes. We have no info, little communication.

I can appreciate the humor in the "salt collection" comment

But.
Last night multiple crashes to home.

Had to clear save and rebind twice for 3 hours of game play.
And this isn't abnormal.

It's very frustrating. Even more so that the best we can get is "Early May".

Even if it's the end of the first week in May that's nearly a month it took to get the game fixed.

I'm sure you can see why the XBOX community is so upset.
