That's being OVERLY fair to FD. And trust me, I believe in being fair to a dev.

But let's be honest, this patch is being pushed out to PC and Mac now because of the in game event.

FD decided to do that and it has nothing to do with Microsoft.

You guys are sooooo keen to poop on MS every chance you get that you ignore the fact that the decision to have the event this weekend, the decision to NOT sync these patches with all platforms is FD's.

You all come off as "Well I got mine, screw you"

Well thanks for that. Much appreciated.

Relax mate.

This is an emergency patch, for indeed upcoming event. It really sucks to be one of the guys being locked out, without to be able to do the "work around " (Are you locked out btw?)

Frontier will release content the same time, also the server side fixes will also apply on XboxOne. This however, is a patch, not a content update, and it can't wait. I know you are annoyed by it. And yes, the bug that get you locked out is a bad one. But mistakes happen, and Frontier is doing everything they can to help us out, as fast as they can.

After collecting all that salt, the Frontier offices are like....

Actually - the decision to still hold the event this weekend was Drew's as its his event.

"Fixed an issue whereby galaxy and system map popups were offset on resolutions other than 1920x1080"

This makes it sound like the problem didn't effect 1920x1080? I and a lot of others also suffered this problem at 1080p, hope it is fixed for us also?
At 1080p the problem occurs only with super-sampling enabled. That means higher than 1080p resolution, technically.

What if we look at it from PC/Mac players point of view, for fairness. If the patch is ready for those 2 platforms, why should we wait for xBox patch then? Doesn't it make sense to release it to PC/Mac to make those players happy and then release for XB when it's ready?

You come off as "Well, if I don't get my toys fix, NOBODY WILL! Screw you!"

Well, thanks for that. Much appreciated.

any ideas if this is a one hour patch or 4 or 5? trying to figure out whether it's worth sticking around for the next half hour or crack on with other stuff...

To be fair to Drew. He decided that before the patch was announced and despite known bugs at the time. His timeline for the release of Premonition has some hard dates with resulting consequences and further delays if they are missed.

Our QA and Engineering team is currently doing checks on the server deployments. This part does take a decent amount of time.

Idk, I think they could also tell Drew it's okay to delay the event.

Nope, also occurs on 1.0x supersampling but different than native screen resolution.
Playing on my 4770k integrated GPU since my 770 died, had to reduce resolution to 1280x720 to get at least more than 30fps as a workaround and had the tooltips being offset.
