Outfitting is now locked for players in Hot Ships, even in jurisdictions where they are not directly wanted. All currently stored modules will be cleaned

Not in Anarchy systems right ? right ???

won't this mean that a Commander, in a hot ship and who doesn't already have a fuel scoop equipped, will now be MORE likely to become stuck with no way of leaving their current system?

Not sure where you are getting this from. You don't need to access Outfitting to refuel your ship. Outfitting is where you add or remove modules / hardpoints from your ship

Awesome!

Just a question for FDev if this is intended or no...

in 2.4 and before if you used AFMU on a module you would see AFMU capacity ticking down and module health % going up slowly.
in 3.0 when repairing AFMU capacity number is frozen and module health % too until it reaches 100%. Then AFMU number refreshes.

Thanks Will,

Could you please ask the BGS people to clarify how this works:

"NPCs have a chance to be affiliated with factions from nearby systems, and a smaller chance to be from further afield"

where does the influence hit for murder occur for multi-system factions?

Re-instated the decimal place on the stats page and the system map and changed the value format accordingly
Can anyone tell what this means?

Currently i'm in the middle of SRV trip (around moon), and hope it means i gain distance accuracy. Last patch it showed MM instead of KM when over 1000KM traveled (for example stats page showed 1.45MM instead of 1453KM, losing last number - that was just for example). Currenly at work so can't check it myself.

Fantastic !

  • Attacking Wanted ships (player or NPC) is now legal even if the player does not know they are Wanted

This one will come in very handy for the RES sites when you know - and they know you know - but you still fire just that little too early..

You don't know until the ship scan completes, you assume. This change allows lazy players to pay even less attention to whats going on, next they will be removing fines for hitting ships that are not wanted giving spray and pray a free pass.

"From 3.0.3 you will no longer be able to access outfitting at any port whilst in a ‘hot’ ship, thus you will not be able to make any load-out changes. You’re required to first clean the ship by paying off fines and bounties issued against it. Outfitting services will then be restored."

won't this make illegal / piracy missions an absolute pain due to not being able to tailor your ship to new mission types without having to drain huge amounts of funds on a regular basis? isn't the idea to go around doing your illegal antics for as long as possible while trying NOT to end up in a situation where you get stung by an eventual loss due to death or whatever?

On the KWS we were promised

We seem to be getting only

"The Kill warrant scanner grants a license to kill for any faction bounty linked to the current jurisdiction’s superpower"

unless the patch notes are incomplete?

You missed:
- All bounties detected with the Kill Warrant Scanner are claimed when the ship is destroyed

"Collect missions will no longer give out rewards which are wanted by collect missions from the same station"

Does this mean I can no longer check the mission boards when arriving at a new station with surplus cargo to see if I can get a better price from there rather than selling it?

Are mission time frames halted while this update is applied? I have a number of wing missions running and just missed finishing off a mission by 30 seconds when the servers went down, I was at selecting the reward screen, It still has six hours left before it expires but it is quite a good payout

I hope

  • Balance pass on wing delivery and collect missions

Means that the board is no longer full of wing missions and us dedicated solo players can get a reasonable selection of solo missions again that don't pay peanuts.

Depends on the situations. I'm doing a lot of bounty hunting lately on compromised beacons, and sometimes I see wings of 3 being attacked. I join the fight, and while I know the other two will be wanted, I have to wait for the scan to complete, even tough I know they are wanted, and miss the kill shot.
For those types of situations, this will be useful.

Ehm where is:

"-Mining missions are now back to mission board again"

??? I know you did some changes but do they back to mission board? Same goes for skimmer missions.
