My patience is personally waning.

Do you guys program in stuff to troll players or something?

After killing ships in a res site for a few hours, i came accross this viper, (bear in mind they are only ever escorts or wanted)Nasty name on the ship, the thought it, i'll throw a plasma at it, it connected a second before the scan finished, lo and behold, this viper with an overly aggresive name was a MINER. Mining laser and everything.

Way to go FDev. Drop all consistency just to off the odd player here and there.

This last week has been laggy, full of DC's, mission board, trolly NPC's whos cursor evasion seems to have somehow gotten WORSE, Rando combat ships being miners in the RES sites despite having a bandity name, Cops killing one another for no good reason, engineering borks and more over when a patch is released it doesnt fix ANY of the above issues with the exception of the Cops not being trigger happy.

The thought of deleting my save is getting stronger everyday as at this point I feel obvious things that really arent hugely cost intensive (LIKE DEDICATED SERVERS FDEV) and or would'nt take a whole lot of time to fix are just being ignored whilst more vapid and unengaging content gets released.

Moreover on the server matter. P2P is not acceptable at this point. Especially if open only PP is being considered. Instancing and the servers need to be replaced and reset to work in at least a mildly effective way as opposed to 5 minutes of trying to hit reticules dancing 2 inch hops accross the screen, then being blue tubed for the better part of time it takes to make a cuppa tea.

Personally FDev are gonna have to work VERY hard on up and coming stuff too keep my interest. After a year of basically not playing anything else and reaching the "endgame" state, IE: PvP, It's bloody sad to have to say that i'm awful sick of being trolled in something I want to do to escape that mentality in everyday life.

I assume you've already tried to consult support about your issues?

To my great shame, no. As I resolved these issues locally, I decided (perhaps wrongly) not to burden what must be an overworked support team with something I'd already fixed; however I thought it worth a mention on the forums on the asumption that the devs still read these things, as well as perhaps sparking an idea or two for people with similar peoblems.

Payouts are only getting nerfed, requirements upped... this is supposed to be a game, not my day job.

132 kills for a 5m payout?
I don't know what the devs are smoking, but I sure want some.

Or you get stuck with 541 kills with only a + rep or + influence or absolutely worthless materials and a base reward of 1.2 mil AND 90 percent of the pirates in the faction are not tagged as mission target AND scanning the NAV beacons fails 90 percent of the time AND the system doesn't have a res of any kind AND FSD inderdictor is completely out of range EVEN though it's A rated and cannot catch up because player supercruise speeds are dramatically reduce while npc supercruise speeds are dramatically increased and they highwake.

Seriously FDev.

I gotta give it to ya Amodin, that was pretty funny. Made me chuckle while I am sitting here fuming and foaming at the mouth because they nerfed my missions here while in the cg . Absolutely rediculous . Im getting to the point where I dont know what to do , but I wont go bust my balls for pennies on the dollar .
 
A lot of newly reported bugs aren't on the known issues list yet though i'd assume that it will get updated in due time.

They have another word for it: "Soon(TM)" which means "curb your enthusiam and do not hold your breath waiting for it".
