Meanwhile update is running.
I really hope invoking galaxymap from transportmission is now working again and showing the destination system and not the current one you are in.
 
I was hoping for a fix for the message list's filter option: if you accidentally hit it (and this happens quite often because it is the first to be selected upon opening that UI), you seemingly cannot close the filter list without either closing the social UI altogether or choosing Clear all filters. Both the Escape key on the keyboard and the circle/B button on the DualShock 4 controller do not appear to work.

Anyone getting that behaviour or is that some local issue with my copy?

Sounds like the issue I reported here on the 13th. Not yet acknowledged. On PC.

I was actually relieved to see "Application updating" when I opened my PS4 this morning (PST)! I know folks were frustrated-angry (as was I), but we had to sit back and breathe understanding this major update was only a week old!

Thanks, Frontier folks! The real test, though, we'll be what happens next!
 
Doesn’t seem that BGS is working correctly still. In fact all the work that I tested out with my faction may very well be up in the air again. None of us know which way is up. Funny thing is. Influence dropped in all my systems with that early tick but I actually saw increases of security and influence. Basically showing that some of its working and some of its not. Then again. It could just be broke differently now so who really knows? Probably not even FDev at this point.

I was sceptical there would be a first patch out before Xmas so well done to all concerned for this effort. Commendable at this time of year. I've been holding off on cosmetics until the SRV bug was fixed, which it was but although I only experienced a few glitches and one system crash on launch day a lot of other PS4 CMDRs have been totally locked out. Hopefully that's now all resolved.

So if you could just see your way to putting an exciting Phantom paint job on the store before the doors to Frontier Towers close on Friday that would be great thanks.
 
Thanks for the update! I've had my share of CTDs but Elite has been fantastic since 3.3 anyway, it's amazing.

What's the size of the update? Running on limited mobile network here for a few weeks while away at work.. Works fine, just wish the update would show the size during download. Or maybe it could be detailed in the patch notes in the future? I'm sure there are more CMDRs with limited networks.
 
Thanks for the great work on the patch FDEV, I can't wait to visit stellar phenomena now that it won't crash in VR. Hopefully the clouds also render in both eyes.. right? Right?

Also, please never bring back the old ADS and continue to focus on improving and expanding the new method of exploration. It doesn't need to come back, it was a terrible mechanic, and bringing it back is a waste of dev resources.
 
What did I miss? Who wants to bring old ADS back? Please no!! :O

I crashed during my flying in the fighter. When I tried to dock i hit my ship and game crashed. Didn't know I hit it that hard. :-/

Removing it was the waste of resources, putting it back would have no effect on those that choose not to fit the module.
