Speaking of valid criticism...

Didn't realise just how borked the firegroups are. I thought first it was just a case of simply reassigning them, but I can't seem to change them anymore after I did, only a relog to menu sorts it, kind of. I've also had modules (like the D-scanner) disappear completely until relogging.

Oh and the credit balance on the right hand panel no longer updates, because why not. This is in Horizons, not even EDO.

These are the kind of things you notice immediately after firing up the game and having a little go at it for like... 20 seconds. Urgh - looks like my Elite sessions really will have to be limited to just grabbing the free Arx (making me feel even more pathetic for logging in merely for in-game currency worth pennies).

Zach asked people to reply to his message about this and bullet point the answers as it may help them fix it sooner, sorry you'll have to trawl back through to find it but it's worth doing as it seems they can't find bugs on their own without our help! :D

Update 9.01 - Patch Notes

When you toggle between combat and analysis mode, in glide, after mapping a planet, the atmosphere disappears and reappears. You can switch it back and forth like a light bulb. (These images were taken 1 second apart, more or less.) Not new (though possibly more in-your-face). I noticed this...

I just experienced it myself this evening on my Steam account (EDO enabled)

On a newly outfitted ship with no weapons i could not set the firegroups (discovery scanner, comp scanner, data link scanner and wake scanner plus a heat sink that is not set in the firegroups, but used with the dedicated key bind).
There was no cursor and no possibility to set the firegroups

The solution was to fit a small laser turret, then i could set the hardpoints

COULD be that they're also sick of incessant pings, insults, demands, and abuse too though. And (hopefully) have more pressing things to do than reply to something that was already addressed this week for the 324,454,657th time.

(And in fairness, its not those who disagree with me. Its those who have the attitude of "Frontier employees aren't getting any abuse, well maybe just a little bit and if so, so what?")

Yes and I'm not sure that Fdevs would want there website associated with people who think it's funny to use such offensive slang whatever your thoughts on a game update there's no need for it

Well with substantially fewer people working for Fdev than there are of us we are more likely to find stuff.

This is true.. but on that day I found out the issues in 25 minutes of my lunchbreak at work. Someone actually working for the company and being payed to do it could have clarified it even quicker as this wasn't so much a find the issue as a "we know there is an issue with X can you tell us about it please"

Having said all that they may have needed different use cases to correlate problems to specific builds etc. but never was that qualified.
