I'll get some clarification here, I have 15 pounds left over as well as it did not add £15 to the add on reward for international postage as per the KS FAQ.

I also see that 4 people on alpha-test level on KS have already upped their pledges to DDF.
It would be nice if the app give a new running total of pledges and backers!

I was only charged £15 for a crapload of goodies. I had £30 set aside for the Premium Box + goodies, but they only ended up charging me £15 total.

Just got my email and all updated. I used my real name for the NPC it will be nice to be immortalised! I won't say my commander name in case an earlier pledger fancies it.

I did this too! Real name for NPC and real name for commander name - I've always used my real name for as long as I've played Elite/Frontier because that was me flying that Cobra MKIII!
I just hope my NPC counterpart ends up just wanting safe passage on a ship rather being on the sharp end of an assassination mission or some such!

Do we actually know whether the NPC name will be used for just one specific NPC like some seem to have jumped to assume, or is it going to be seeded into the random name generator that is used to make generic names for any number of NPC's? Judging from the wording of the description it would be the latter since it mentions 'random naming database', but I suppose it's sort of ambiguous. There's only one field, but I assume it takes both a first name and last name, as that was the form for all the generated names in FE2/FFE?

It is clear from the FAQ that add ons also attract £15 pounds postage. I have requested clarification and I am sure we will get a response soon.
I mentioned this in the Kickstarter Comments, and Michael has confirmed that they will look into this.

I'll look into this when I get back into the office on Monday. I imagine we will be able to implement this though.
Once you submit a character name and it is approved you're locked in then, so make sure to take your time choosing it. I believe multiple words for your name is perfectly acceptable.
I believe this means you have an additional £15 to spend on extras, but I'll make sure to clarify this when I get in on Monday.
The emails are getting sent out in small batches to help server load, this means that you may not get yours until tomorrow or even Sunday. If you still haven't received it by Monday though let me know.
For Commander's name: Would an ICAO tactical call sign be appropriate? I've used the same for the last 10 years till retirement and would like to "immortalize" it.
This should be ok, the best thing to do would be to just submit it and find out!
