Awesome work, I'm glad to see the web-app is available now! I've just Jonty'd my pledge back up to £100 like I wanted to previously, so first round of beta testing, here we come!

Mine went to my Gmail spam box too. I should have checked it sooner, as it's been there for hours!
I'm another international backer who appears to have £15 left over at the end of the process. I've only been charged once for shipping, despite having the boxed set, and some signed prints as extras.
We get a choice of concept art pictures later, right? I don't really want the star chart, or the ship ID chart so I selected 2x signed concept art print.

Ashley will let us know on Monday re the possible unprocessed £15 for internationals, when I hear the results I'll know how much more to add via PP for those extra goodies we didn't know about like the signed ship ID chart and star chart
I'm sure we will get a chance to choose which of the artworks we want this was discussed in the KS.

Well we don't know for sure till Ashley checks it out. We will either have a extras £15 to spend or people that only put in £15 for a main tier pledge as well as an add on will need to adjust their pledge or add more funds to cover it the missing postage.
Either way Ashley will let us know on Monday UK time (Tuesday morning in Australia)

It probably goes without saying but please, for the love of God, encrypt your database - I read about far too many companies being hacked and their customer details being stolen that I am starting to think it's deliberate

Now to see what kind of digital anything actually comes my way.
FYI, 28k emails wouldn't actually take that long. Unless of course you are sending them each as separate emails and not as a distro list. Depending on the number of recipients per message per connection, you could dump 10k of messages in very little time.

Oops, I'm an idiot! It's more likely to be a few PayPal people being added to the KS numbers. Good to hear people buying more extras, they are tempting. Also nice to see that none of the limited higher reward tiers have dropped their numbers. I believe on average something like 15% of pledged KS funds never materialise. Hopefully that number is a lot less for ED.
I'm also looking forward to seeing some more stretch goals soon, perhaps in the newsletter?

I was deliberating what to put in as my chosen NPC Name and it struck me that whatever I put it'll be up to the Frontier team to judge whether I mean it to be male or female. It would have been nice to also be able to choose M or F (or H for hermaphrodite maybe
I would imagine that if there's any doubt they'll look at your name and decide on that basis....
Crumbs, I hope so. Let's just say a "medium" wouldn't exactly work
I think they'll ask you for your size rather than trust the Doris Stokes' of this world (or the next for that matter)

Registration worked fine, so all that is good.
Just one suggestion, maybe have a link to this backers account page on the main Elite: Dangerous site ( http://elite.frontier.co.uk/ )
As having to go into my email just to access the account page seems a little messy? In Star Citizen you would sign into your account from the main game web page, and i think that would work well for Elite: Dangerous also?
Good luck on verifying all the names! And let's hope not too many folks get upset with what they end up with

I think lots of people (me too) will be using personal real-world names of some type. Human names are a very messy complex issue, especially internationally.
