Hey there, i recently just purchased the Logitech X52 Pro hotas system to use for Elite Dangerous. I already have the Thrustmaster 458 Spider Steering wheel that comes with the pedals, my question is: How can i use the pedals from my 458 as rudder pedals along with my x52 hotas. I’ve seen a couple posts on reddit and this forum about it but they haven’t been very helpful since they are always about different pedals. Was interested if anyone could give me some advice on how to go about this. Thanks!!

The game just works with multiple controllers. Just plug them in and bind them. 'course that's an extra set of controls you'll need to make sure are working and plugged in before you start the game.
Some time ago, I have a vague memory that if I started the game without the controller plugged in, it was painful to fix and the easiest solution was probably to exit and restart. (Rather than changing all 4 bindings manually.) More recently, I've found that I can plug in a controller after the game starts, and it will automagically load my bindings. A nice QoL improvement...
Catastrophic failure has given me a Pavlovian response to plugging controllers in before playing. It would take longer than it's worth to unlearn that trauma.
