Vanishing Planets?

Has anyone else come across this? I was about to go and do a spot of mining in a nearby system (LP 943-72), when I found that the system I'd bookmarked had completely changed and my bookmark went to an empty spot in space. The system now no longer matches up with what was there and is completely out of sync with the EDDB entry on it, and A 1, A 1 a and A 2 are just 'gone'...

Both Horizons and Odyssey are affected. Is this just an isolated glitch, or is it happening elsewhere? I presume it's a bug, unless someone got their hands on a Death Star. I vaguely remember something like this being mentioned in the Update 3 notes, but I can't seem to find any reference now.

Sounds like a similar issue to the one they just fixed in Sharur with 3.01.

• A moon has been reinstated in the Sharur system, which disappeared in Update 2 and caused issues for players trying to log into game whilst present in Sharur.

It's a little concerning if it's happening in multiple systems...

Ah, that's why I didn't find it in the Update 3 patch notes, it was in 3.01.

Depends on how it happened. If someone accidentally wiped them without realizing, then it was a once off thing, if it's something more fundamental, then yes.

what!!!??? HIP 12099 1 B - the planet on which Jameson crashed has also vanished now! Can others see this?

They never fixed the old disappearing planet bug, did they? Anyone still remember it?

The bug was system specific per account.

Recently I came across a system where it happened back then.






They never acknoledged that it wasnt fixed. Hope the new bug is not as bad as the old one (only fixable if you probe the planet, if its a sun tough luck, probed planets can be revealed by a wing if someone else scans them)
