[Video] Making money : (Diah)Rhea runs 120+ mil/hour

About the same as Sothis/CEOS before the nerf. IIRC a fully laden Cutter could earn 80mill per trip and that took several hours.

I fly a Dropship. 3.3 Mcr re-buy. [hehe]

VIP missions are nice too. In my DBX they are just a few jumps and I get to see the wonders of the bubble. ;) If I want a bit of a thrill I take wanted passengers.

Being a "bush pilot" at the edge of the bubble is fun - and lately highly lucrative.

I have been unable to log in since friday due to "unrecoverable error on the transaction server." yet they have time to stealth patch Rhea? I guess thats why my support ticket went from 48hrs to 72. thanks FDev gg

Well, Frontier nerfed it because "someone posted it on the forums".

I agree with Obsidian and I hope FD's game designers are working triple shift to get the gameplay right.

So to correct the state of thinking on this. We didn't nerf it because it was posted to the forums. We were aware of it before the weekend hit. It came to our attention via discord users telling us about it. :)

Wow.

You could have told this before the weekend so we could have enjoyed it...

.......

Its great to see there are such very 'ready' users who dislike anyone getting a good opportunity to alleviate the grind, by the way...

I like that: Bush Pilots in Elite.

I also enjoy flying VIP sightseeing missions in my Dolphin. At one mission at a time it doesn't pay outstandingly well, but eh, it does keep the ship flying.

Well, I must say this one was quickly dealt with. GG FD, thanks to the devs.

Can you please explain what "nerf" was made? Thought part of the 2.4 update...hard to know what is intentional and what isn't without a published yardstick...

I can't really provide game support - I'm not exactly good at troubleshooting... that's something that is in Customer Supports court. They do a far awesomer(?) job than what I can do when it comes to technical issues.

9 for 10 they turned off the multiplier for distance from jump-in point.

He may have a point, but his reasoning is flawed here. Cheaters that want the best stuff and can get away with it cheat.

I'm certainly not happy and keen to use these scenarios, nor is there really any need to. You can get along well enough in this game using a Cobra Mk. III. Some people just want their big bling ego boost fix. I'd rather just have fun playing the game as intended and for what it is.

I just did another run with full passenger load and got only 22 mill with a fully passenger geared conda.

Yesterday 5.00 EU time i was getting ~40 mil a run already with much less reputation with the factions and it wasnt taking this long to load up by flipping the boards.

On my phone and have written this about four times now. :( The distance from star reward element was not removed. Just wanted to clarify that this is still a thing that should contribute to the total reward. Sorry for grammar and typos.

Adam

So a 20kLY passenger mission should only give 1.5 million? or go with 20 passengers 1 system next to Rhea and get almost 2? Something doesn't seem right...

Since your nerf hit, I think it's effected other missions.

I've seen passenger missions paying out 1 million or less credits for a 20,000 light year trip, which obviously isn't right for such a large distance (I think). And many other missions that have very high risks are offering very low rewards.

It made me laugh when I saw a boom time data delivery to Colonia and the reward was 980,000 credits lol.
