[Video] Money making META in 3.0 - Skimmer missions 200-300 mil/h (The Voly-boom run)

if mission payout respected players time and efforts then people wouldnt have gone that far for exploit and taking shortcuts.

Honestly they should just give up and leave the credit exploits in-game until they have a smart way to nerf and fix it. They are just gonna keep making the same damn mistakes over and over. They'd be better off leaving the exploits in, sitting down and hardcore brainstorming a full overhaul to all mission types and payouts, then slap that fix into the game while nerfing the insane payouts. And those who have billions could make like guilds or squadrons or whatever you wanna call them and have their own mega ship or capital ship as a beacon for their group that will be the money sink.

Frontiers way currently baffles me.

All of that. It's mind boggling.

I would have been happy if this approach was used, but I have the impression that they rather put a small camp fire out with an areal firefighting plane.

This is exactly it.

Missions do not respect peoples time and efforts.

I called it a long time ago, rep earning should be mission arcs RELEVANT mission arcs, money should be based on risk, and, it should be based of scaling with the ship. Cargo missions are a good example... Do not specify quantity, just make it dynamic, so if you have lots of cargo space AKA big ship, then your mission reward bonus multiples will take that into account.

etc etc etc etc.

Right now it's like a taxi driver spending $1.5m on a golden Bentley, and only picking up $4 pick ups to the local disco hall. He SHOULD be chauffeuring VIPs, and royalty for premium bucks.

Oh well.

Funnily enough, people got the bentley first, then now is asking FD to put VIPs in all bus stops and premium bucks, when the bentley (fully engineered fleet of corvettes) was never needed for normal refugee-commuters transport and normal game play. But yeah.. call it disrespect now

Players have too high expectations about how much they are worth.

I have to dash to a meeting now, but, just quickly before I do.. Just wanted to say I agree but, I'm KING in Empire, and as such I should get royalties and hangers on kissing my behind a bit.. I'd expect being a reputation king, would open doors to very lucrative opportunities, but no, still mucking out the sewer for 67p an hour, and scraping by on benefits.

The game simply doesn't take into account reasonable expectations based on time / effort folks have put in.

It's a floodgate to using 'exploits' to actually make some cash. It's quite a sizable issue :(

VIPS should have been in from the start, and folks build the ships up to meet their demands..... it's the complete reverse.... people have the ships and crave reasonable content to make them worth the feel of using them :D

The town crier was used to make public announcements in the streets. Criers often dressed elaborately, by a tradition dating to the 18th century, in a red and gold coat, white breeches, black boots and a tricorne hat.
Town criers were sometimes shot or decapitated for making too much noise and spreading malicious rumours that caused the odd goldrush.. The judiciary sometimes removed their privileges until the goldrush was quelled..

Darnielles in Maia although you have to do a bit more board flipping. Also offering Meta Alloy runs at 50 million credits per 180T ( few and far between though ) ... sweet when you get one

I heard Baker Orbital isn't either. Has anyone found a new location to get these missions from yet?

You obviously don't know how to play Goldrush. The idea is to find your own goldmine and keep it a secret for as long as possible until other commanders find it and publish it on Youtube for monetised clicks, which then causes a nerf attack, which wipes it out. You then have to go and find another one.

You asked the question and I answered it so now go make some money and stop being so ungrateful. I don't need to play Goldrush coz I'm a rich mutha***** Also, I believe Skimmer Missions are working as intended since the update in that you can no longer use missiles to destroy them from afar so unlikely to get nerfed ... still lucrative though even if for a bit more work and strategic positioning of your SRV ...
