I'm absolutely no expert, but I believe if you keep using voice recognition software you can train it to understand you better.

Type speech in the search bar and you should be able to find it.

This is exactly the case, the more you "practice" with it, the more it picks up your accent, speech patterns and tempo, then learns from it. This will really get things going for you, just be prepared to invest a small amount of time to get it used to you. I have a friend from Northwestern Scotland (Talk about a thick accent!) and he had to do this for a total of 3 hours "training time", now he's one with his voice attack profile.

Just installed Voicepack, thanks OP for the great tips!

So far just put in a few commands, lights, landing gear, hardpoints etc. and already wondering why I've been buggering about with buttons all this time!

I have just got Voice Attack and have had fun getting it to work.
In all of the videos that I have watched they have a record button to help with the macros.
I have only one question, have they removed this option? I have checked to see if the program is up to date.

Anyone offer any advice on a faultless method of itneracting with the galaxy map...I can whizz round it with the joystick...I can select a system...what I CANNOT for the life of me do is get it to plot a course to that system - I have to fall back on the mouse...any voice attack wizards who can help?

Also, I gotta get me one of those voice packs...can you get it to say things like "Aye Aye" when it recognises a command and "Sorry Cap'n?" when it doesn't...some audio cue that my VA is actually up and running would be helpful.

Issue resolved...I had conflicting controls set in Galaxy Map and UI controls...mapped all map movement to joystick, all UI to keys...problem solved!

Can someone point me to the correct keybindings for the horizon section for using a HSC voice attack pack (Kate)? ive followed the voice attack tutorial but nothing is mentioned for new section includng the srv bindings and mine are all blank sry if this is in wrong section but ive been at it for ages and quite stressed ..i'm using a logitech extreme 3d pro but it shouldnt make a difference if i have the correct bindings. copying a profile wont work for me so I have to do it manually.

Thanks in advance if anyone kindly replies.

Anyone managed to get the new SRV submenu to work with a HCS voicepack? I can't seem to reset it so that the commands can be picked properly.

Hi _Grey_Area_

can you advise what you did as I am like you, can move about the GM and select a system but then can't navigate the contextual menu and plot a route.

Pretty certain i bought my copy with paypal, I cant remember if paypal allows you to add a prepaid credit card.
