So there's a bug that is happening when minded Deep Core Rocks. I've run into this twice now but this second time around I think I know what's causing it. So first off, here's the issue.
You find a Asteroid with Void Opals (might also happen with other rare materials) and you blow it up. The as you go you see one your collectors can't get it. When they try you can see them spazzing out on your dashboard of your ship. They can't get to it either. So you fly towards it and see that the Opal is inside the Asteroid.
What I just saw though is not that the Opal spawns inside the Asteroid upon detonation but that the Opal material has no collision model. So it's actually phasing into the large, left over Asteroid chunks.

I wasn't able to get a screenshot of the Opal phasing out of the chunk because I tried to quickly spawn a collector but I still couldn't get the opal in time as the chunk then rotated enough to have the opal phase back into the chunk.
While this seems to only happen with one Opal fragment per Deep Core (so far that is), it's still frustrating because for all intense and purposes the player has earned the ability to harvest all of those fragments. So for one of them to has this issue and it's outside the players control is rather disheartening and frustrating.
So hopefully Frontier will work on resolving this issue.
