Vote for Imperial Cutter 8 Class Power Distributor

A battle cutter is a formidable foe, even when flown by a NPC.
In a CZ I've had to cut and run in my FAS more than once.

Yep - I slosh around in my battle Cutter with FA off in military/strikes zones grinding merits and at first I thought it was the bomb, getting 600 merits/hour or so. Tried a Vette for the lutz and it can burn through npcs faster, probably due to the A8 distributor. I think I average about 800/hr. I've yet to try the Conda.

While the Cutter is great and A8 shields are nice, A7 are fine in the Vette and the A8 distributor allows my all turret pulses to melt shields while my gimbal beams melt what's left. FA off with Vette allows me to easily keep the target in FOV, and there is no drift. I've yet to find something that tops merits/hour grind of a Vette, but admittedly I haven't tried all the ships. Anyone that has an opinion, please post it.

Plase Frontier make Cutter 8 Class Power Distributor!

No. We do not need another almost identical fighter.
Give Cutter 6 class power distributor, and then try to balance it against Corvette, whatever it takes - make them as different as possible but more or less equal in combat. Try high heat/high alpha weapons and mess with Cutter's heat management perhaps?

FD should add/rebalance weapons, nerf large ships agility/inertia, change heat mechanic on large ships, make small ships faster, give specialized trading ships better FSD, and give us 30+ DIFFERENT ships.

I could be wrong, but I don't think a bigger power distributor would improve its pitch or maneuverability, nor would it increase its boost speed, nor would it magically give it more hard points or let it carry larger weapons.

I just want the T9's fuel tank on my Clipper, so that it can jump more than 4/5 times before refuelling...

(I know that I can sacrifice modules for extra-tanks)

I just want my Clippers hardpoint placement to not be garbage. Id say move the Class 3 hardpoints to where the Class 2 currently are, and move the Class 2 hardpoints to under the chin of the ship.

I like this idea :)
