Voyager 1 & 2 Unidentified Signals

Where to find the Voyager probes in Sol?

I've spent the last 2.5 hours scouring the system for the Voyager probes but I can't find the dang things. I've used a few YouTube videos as guides but the probes aren't showing up where they should be. Does anyone know the appropriate trajectory and distance from the inner Sol system so I can make a straight shot there without having to fly around aimlessly?

if I recall there is a target a real silly distance away. just lock onto that make a coffee and SC to it for half hour or so
Right, but apparently I have to be close enough to it to lock on. There was no option to lock onto the target even after I reached the probe's supposed location.
That's the video I used. I flew straight there and I never found an "Ancient Probe" target. I found a crapton of USSs and WSSs though, all of which were either explorers or pirate traps.

Looks like you have to be within 1000 Ls range of the probe.

The post I linked describes how he found the probe. Must have needed a bit luck too. :)

Voyager Probes

I know on the PC side of things both Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 deep space probes have been found. I'm currently looking for them and I'm wondering if anybody has found them or has any information to help me find them.

Where is voyager?

Hi. I'm in sol, and i noticed something strange.
Where is voyager? I can't find it! Is it bug or... or what?

It is about 2 million light seconds from Sol, but you won't see it show up unless you get within 1,000Ls of it.

This video has some tips in the description on how they found it. You could also find out in the real world where it should be and go there (line up using other systems).

I found it in Gamma, rather by accident. I headed out beyond Jupiter/Saturn and kept going, trying to find out the max speed of my ship in SC (2001 C)
Eventually, I saw something strange on my navigation tab. Something like "Ancient probe signal" or something, so I locked on and followed it.
Happy hunting!

Yup I thought it went then too. Anyone seen it since?
Yes, you have to get within a 1000ls for it to appear.
If you look at some of the Vids of people heading out, you can get a general direction to head in using relative objects. Needle in a haystack is an understatement

Wow cool. I hope the base of the lunar lander from the Apollo missions will also be an in-game ting once planetary landings are released. That would be my Mecca.
