VR to remain same in odyssey (with bug fixes)

I feel your pain, except I don't need a refund because I didn't buy Odyssey in the first place. I've lost all interest in the game until it gets VR support.

Just for the info to maybe save someone some bucks. As a Reverb G1 + 1080TI owner I had really bad experience trying to play Odyssey in VR. I had a weak moment and almost bought ridiculously overpriced GPU for Odyssey, but luckily I remembered my cousin just bragged about buying 3080TI. Two days were needed for me to confiscate his GPU to test it with Odyssey :cool: All I can say, after what I would describe as stuttering mess, save your money. Even 3080TI/10700KF can't run this DLC in VR (Reverb) half decent atm.

I uninstalled the game the day I heard Odyssey was not going to have VR. Deeply disappointing. Incompetent devs who cant do simple fps when many other games can do fps in VR

Hi, my Oculus is currently packed away until I move house - is VR gone entirely? Or is it the on-foot stuff? I loved mining in VR and really want to get back to it later this year.

VR is still in. On foot you will be presented with a “home theatre’ style big 2-d screen projected in your headset.

VR performance in Odyssey is, however, very questionable and inconsistent at the moment. Sometimes I can get playable states, sometimes I can’t. (3900x + 6900xt.) Don’t expect to play ED VR on anything but the absolute latest end hardware — brute force is the only way to make it work, and even then it’s questionable.
