Warning: Hard limit for 6000 guests and parks are smaller than PlanCo1

So some people have early access and they confirm there is a hard limit of 6000 guests per park. You cannot change this number, even if you write 10000 it will go back to 6000.

Same goes for max park size, it seems smaller than Planet Coaster 1 scenario editor.

This is probably done for consoles, but now us PC players have to suffer because of this.

Would be really great if Frontier will address this ASAP. They want to do cross platform so that's why they have maybe added this to not stress consoles because they are weaker and inferior to PC's. But now we cannot even do the same stuff we could do in the first game. This is a huge issue and now it makes me doubt my pre-order.

This cross platform stuff just doesn't work for games like this and this is the proof. Now we have to suffer by having an inferior product with less freedom than the first installment only so consoles can also play our parks.

THERE IS ONLY ONE THING YOU CAN DO FRONTIER: Make it a checkbox where we can remove these limits, but then we also agree that our parks will not be shared to consoles.

There, everybody happy.

The 6000 limit is -per day- you can have more if its spread out over multiple days.

So I think we can still have more than 6000 then and this youtuber who has early access is wrong?

It does make sense from the text it says additional, so I hope we can have more then. If we can have more this is great news and sorry for the confusion. But there should be some better communication about this. Because where is the actual park limit then? Can it be unlimited? A day in planet coaster goes super fast, so what is the point of this?

It seems like guest can stay "up too" 3 days in the park... So some will leave on day one, some on day 2 and some on day 3... So theoretically there could be more guests in the park if 6000 new guest join every day (up to 18000). But most likely it will be around 8000-12000 guests.

But still I am not a fan of this and the smaller parks, too. I hoped that they allow this time to build on the whole area, or at least let us edit the terrain, so we can makes islands and stuff.

Okay that makes sense, yes a theoretical limit of 18000 guests then.

That seems reasonable to me, but yeah, depends how easy it is to reach this. I just dont understand why they don't give us a max limit option like in Planet Coaster 1

I saw Chacho replying to a reddit thread about this saying he had asked the devs and seemingly it is a hard 6000 cap despite the wording. I guess we need one of these early-accessers to test this!

This limitation makes no sense and it is clear that this game has been developed from scratch for console users. A computer can handle more than that. I have 10k visitors in my park in Planco 1 and the game works more or less well. Planco 2, using direct x12 should work better.

This is as simple as letting us choose whether to prefer few visitors and better fps or more visitors and sacrifice the performance a little, but 6k in a large park is very little and the areas further from the entrance will be completely deserted.

And by the way, at the end of the day all the visitors leave, so the next day you will start with 0 visitors...

No night!? That's almost a deal breaker for me. Most parks I've ever been to are open until 9 or 10pm -- even later for Halloween or Christmas events.

As a sandbox player I don't care too much about the guest limit for now, but smaller parks is really worrying.
Whilst the maps did feel smaller when I loaded them, I checked and they're the same size as the Planet Zoo maps (250 by 250 grid pieces). I don't know what it used to be for Planet Coaster, but the maps in Zoo aren't small so I wouldn't worry too much about that.
