I'll open it if Thursday comes and the state changes. Would not surprise me if the progress decays every day, similar to super-power reputation.I would have expected more champagne in this thread after the whole shower of optimism...

You can all thank me, it changed just after I got back from dropping off my last 10 escape pods and returned to complete a transport mission with the last 4 consumer tech.Looking at what the system has done now? Yes, that's a bar which needed one more tick.
This is what it looks like now, which is not ambiguous.

The graphic has already changed and seems to be locked in now, so all is fine.I'll open it if Thursday comes and the state changes. Would not surprise me if the progress decays every day, similar to super-power reputation.
Oh there will be a refugee return thing, it goes without saying but they need to rebuilt the Stations first. Although we're unsure how it works yet. HIP 23716 had one port active, so I presume the other ports (not sure how many there were originally, if there were others) will have to be rebuilt. We also don't know what happens to the population and the minor factions. As long as it doesn't mean having to ferry all those people back again....![]()
Be nice if we could get this one over the line as well, and see what happens there next week.Job done, I’m off to HIP 20485.
I can't imagine the hilarity that would have been on Thursday if everyone had just stopped and moved elsewhere! Good stuff. That's much clearer.Looking at what the system has done now? Yes, that's a bar which needed one more tick.

Well yes, that's to be expected. It's at least some evidence that the difficulty level has been shifted away from "completely pointless bothering doing anything right now." The expectation is that it'll get easier in the future, if FDev aren't trying to railroad wiping out the Bubble anyway. It'll also be interesting to see if concentrating on a smaller system next goes faster.I would like to say I see us winning but all I see is a tiny battle won (maybe) and a long long way to go to see anything that looks like winning. Will be lucky if we can call it a stalemate at our current rate of "winning". But, maybe ...... this small victory will inspire other pilots to take a chance and join in.
Just to correct - it's ~70% of the Thargoid war participants on Inara, not all Inara users. It seems there is a lot more of commanders that do not care about the war (yet).Takes about 70% of all of Inara's registered commanders to flip one system.
