We need better communication

You are talking to a company...comprised of people. Regardless of whatever "customer is always right" dogma you follow, you are also talking to a person, so perhaps the communication dynamics shouldn't be all that different.

Anyways, this is probably pointless. Carry on then o7. Let me know how things work out for ya Karen!
The company is a separate legal person from its shareholders and the directors. The company incurs debts in the course of its business and only the company is liable for those. ... The directors incur no personal liability as all their acts are undertaken as agents for the company.

So who's liable for mis selling the alpha as a finished product then? Who's liable for saying a roadmap / dev talk is coming then reneging on that promise (I'm sorry but a five minute draft dumped on its customers last thing on a friday evening does not constitute a roadmap).
Hint: This is a road map - https://www.flightsimulator.com/development-roadmap/
I'd be happy with more transparency than hollow talk and promises of honesty before dropping back into Incommunicado - apart from Sally who I see on these forums regularly, admitting she can't talk about the big stuff but is pushing stuff from the issue tracker over to the devs, being chatty and soothing customers brows...

The problem I have isn't with the people as individuals but the actions made by the company as a whole. Is not about the customer is always right is about the company has a responsability because they sold this as a finished product. You are downplaying the issue and being company worshiper, you aren't better than a Star citizen fanboy.

I agree and I have gone on to basically say you can't always get what you want with communication from games companies. You can ask for better or more frequent communication (and we got that, arguably) but when you start asking for "I need this specific info" then I think it's unreasonable to be upset if it isn't forthcoming. It's your right to be upset of course (and then do whatever you feel necessary in response). But it's unreasonable to expect another party to say something just because you want them to say it.

The world doesn't work that way. Fdev have just as much right not to say something as you have to ask for it. And being upset at them isn't going to change a thing. I prefer to put my energy into telling them about the stuff that I think they can fix, personally. But it's alright if you don't.
As we have right to take legal action, FDev lied so much about this product that I'm not suprised that there isn't one going on right now. Even the planet on the trailer looks nothing like it and that was promoted as "In game footage".

If they keep doing what they want and don't care for their players it will get worse. The playerbase on steam has dropped significantly, Down To Earth Astronomy even made a video about the player numbers dropping. We have gone through a dread of significant content for a long time, now it ended like this, communication is essential for those who have left to come back or at least keeping them close.
