We NEED something that shows us who's docked in our carrier

They lack a lot of community and management features. It's a bit irritating that mining adjustments have been prioritized, but I still notice a lot of bugs. But now we have over half a year until the next known update, so maybe Carriers won't just be abandoned, because people are actually using them.

I'll agree on this one... If you're going to dock on a player's asset, it's fair to lose some privacy to them.

I would very much like to be able to see who has docked/is docked on my carrier.

Barring that, I would settle for "5 CMDRs have docked in the last 24hrs." "2 CMDRs are currently docked." stuff like that. But I see no reason not to display their names to the FC's owner.

I think that mining had a LOT of love in the past 1.5 years (which is good) but would be nice to see other activities & features get as much attention.

It's because the tardis effect hurts realism. You want to think there are just a few intrepid exploration vessels docked in your FC when in fact there could be an implausibly huge number of them. Think of the Gnosis and the countless thousands of cmdrs in their anacondas, all seemingly stowed away with plenty of room to spare. FCs are big, but not infinite.

Yeah that would be fun, waiting for 15 minutes while the FC downloads and generates details for 15,000 CMDRS, then displays them to you 50 CMDRS at a time 🍿

I think just a number would be fine though, and maybe a board where CMDRS can post an arrival message if they want, but not compulsory revealing of other CMDRS details, it's a game not an international airport, while realism is nice where it works, demanding absolute realism can be problematic.

I think if you hit the decommission button it tells you how many are docked on your carrier

It could be broken in some scenario's though. My carrier correctly says my ships, but then has zero ships from other commanders, but i know for a fact my alt is on it with 3 stored ships. Maybe this value doesn't work if the other player / account is in your squadron. My carrier is set to squadron only as i've started to use the commodities market for credit transfer and fuelling capability from storage for an alt account so have all sorts of strange market transactions enabled.

Aside from privacy, at very least I’d like to see a similar report we have on stations - showing number of ships that passed through in last X hours/days.

e.g. For FCs, have report that shows current # and type of ships docked, and total # and type of ships docked over last X time period.

and I’m not even a FC owner yet but would be nice to see traffic report when I eventually farm enough CR to get one.

There's a few QoL things needed in-game with Fleet Carriers, but if you have a list of who's docked on your Carrier, is it just the game mode you're in? or all game modes? Because if you're talking all game modes you could potentially have a list 20,000 (or more) long.

Being able to find fleet carriers in the Galaxy map by reg no. is more urgent ... in my opinion.
