A thought on a possible feature. In theory the bounty board is great because it give us incentive to hunt down the big bads and tells us where they were last located.
What if we could do that with anyone?
What if we could allow ourselves to track down any CMDR in a similar fashion (last scene in X-system).
Obviously this could suck and be abused - especially by griefers and other types, so it would have to be voluntary. You put in a hunt request (like a friend request) and they decide if they want to accept it. If they do, you can get updates on their last location in a similar way as the bounty list. Obviously the problem with the Friend method is that you always see where they are all the time when online, no challenge there.
So who would use this? Well pirates looking for a challenge for one thing. They might know they're never going to make the top 5 but wouldn't mind having to outwit some bounty hunters.
Friends who want to play a cat-and-mouse game hunting each other. Heck, organized assassination games done in similar fashion.
What do you think? Got potential?
