Personally I'd disagree with that, but each to their own I guess... it's like Marmite in that respect. To me it looks like it's a huge step backwards.Grats to the team for their hard work. The new forums layout looks amazing!

Well, no forums for me then, unfortunately. There's no way someone would enjoy black/white background change all the time by going to ED forum and other parts of new forum. I stopped enjoying rave parties about 20 years ago.
Anyways. Bad decision / limitation from a new system indeed. I can't look at black background for more than few seconds.

I must be old or something as I CAN'T read a webpage with a dark background w/white text for more than a minute or so. It physically hurts my eyes and when I look away all I can see is a shadow image of the text/background burned into my retina. Like looking at a bright light and that burn your eyes feel - that is what this it to me. Every single forum out there (even your old one) allowed us to change this. This website is useless to me if I can't read it. Must take a break now.... eyes burning.

On iPad it still looks like a scaled version of the phone one, everything is too big and zoomed in, but I guess we can’t have everything

Reading the advance notices, it isn't mentioned as a forum that was planned for removal, but I can't see it anywhere.

looks good so far.
However, the sub-forum for ED enforces the dark ED-theme. (likewise PlanetCoaster and Jurassic have their own enforced themes)
But I want to use a white/bright background with black fonts. Please fix this asap, I need a bright color theme for all the areas of the forum.

A great advance the new forum: now it reads more clearly and from what I have seen is everything in a more orderly way. Congratulations to the creators.
One thing I wanted to ask them: in the old forum I had the option to save different threads as "bookmarks" of a browser. I had several bookmarks already chosen and now I don't see them in my profile: have they disappeared? Has this possibility of subscribing as a "bookmark" to the selected threads disappeared?

Can anybody elaborate how it is tied to the store?
I have a different name and login for the store and for the forum.
Are you thinking about ppl that were incautios in registering under same credentials or is there a new binding in services?
not the case, at least w/o effect for me on FireFox. As soon as the sub-forum is selceted the theme preference is ignored.

It's not been removed, however it's currently not accessible. You should be able to access it in the next few days!

Unfortunately at this time you will not be able to use another theme on the game specific forums, however you may be able to use a browser plugin like Stylish to customise the theme for yourself!
Is it queued for a fix? Seriously this isn't something that should be left til after launch.
New forum looks good but takes a bit of getting used to of course. Only things missing for me are animated avatars and 24-hour clock notation (18.02 instead of 6.02PM)

This is a limit of the Xenforo forum software, so this isn't something we're able to change I'm afraid.
Would it really be too much trouble to forgo the custom themes per subforum until we can override them?
Time for a rollback to software that works then.
