What additional shops would you like to see in Planet Zoo?

I really hope that we will see more shops added to Planet Zoo to flesh out this part of what’s on offer for guests.

The World Fair pack added new shops to Planet Coaster and Id love to see some of these in game to bring some, for example, Noodle cuisine to my Asian area in Planet Zoo. It would also be awesome to have more shops reflecting key countries’ authentic cuisine already present in the game - Indian, African, Australian delicacies would make it very immersive and also respect local traditions.

Alongside Hats Fantastic and Justa Momento it would be great to see relevant tshirts being sold within each region that guests then wear and face painting stations.

I guess what I’d like to see is more region specific shops as well as the general ones we currently have. If we could have one or two included in each DLC that’d be awesome.

What do you think and what would you like to see in this area?

Stuffed animal shops for sure.

Something Asian, BBQ and Seafood related as well. Maybe even more Italian than just pizza. I'd love to see full fledged restaurants or cafes, even if the customers can't actually go in. I know there's plenty of that on the work shop though.

Themed food/drink shops or food carts.
Missed opportunity on the food/drink shops imo, every continent/theme has some unique foods/drinks.

While I'm not vegan/vegetarian, someone did point out it would be nice to have that option. Can't think of a reason not to include a few shops.

And NZfanatic's choice for stuffed animals would be nice as well.

I'd like to see the restaurants brought over from PlanCo. It bugs me that there are separate food and drink stands - having one place where guests can get it all at once would be better.

Other than that, I think a stuffed animal shop would be realistic.
Remember how they made a big deal of spotlighting those fake animal plushies a month or two back? Made by someone on the workshop. It makes me wonder if maybe they were testing the water for adding something like that.

Maybe, or you have to wonder if they highlighted it because they wanted to say, "We're not making this so get this instead". 😅

I don't know what was in Planet Coaster, but more gift shop variations would be great, as well as more international food - Asian, for example, as was already mentioned. Also Indian, maybe specific Sea Food (for the coastal theme), things like that. I'd also fancy more interactive things like a photo booth.

I would like much more shop with the cash register and computer and soft toys and other objects.

I want there to be a shop where guests can buy animalfood for walk in habitat animals and toss it as a guest/animal interaction

Animal feeding is typically heavily restricted because zoo animals require strict nutritional regimens. Sometimes zoos will let guests feed animals as part of closely-monitored special encounters or in petting zoos with domesticated species (and even then it's often restricted - horses are very prone to rapid weight gain for example), but no good zoo is going to allow guests to feed animals willy-nilly and unsupervised.

Hence the shop aspect, they don’t bring stuff from home and the zoo would monitor and restrict it. I know how to feed animals. :)

You're missing the point.

No zoo is going to sell animal food at a shop and let guests feed exotic animals at random. It's not a good idea outside of, as I said, perhaps a petting zoo environment.

Edit: I'm also not even sure what "I know how to feed animals" is supposed to mean.

I said walk in habitat animals. Ie animals like the domesticated llama. This is done at parks. I didn’t specify. You put words in my mouth. It’s uncomfortable.

What i mean by that is that you don’t have to school me at my suggestion. You could instead ask me for further detail.

It's not up to me to ask for clarification. All you said was, and I quote, "guests can buy animalfood for walk in habitat animals and toss it as a guest/animal interaction". I didn't put any words in your mouth at all, I responded to exactly what you said. If you meant only the llama, then you should have specified that at the beginning.

I would love more shops variation. I was a bit sad that the World Fair shops were not ported over at launch, they would make a great addition to the game.

Just a memento does sell plushies if I remember correctly.

I think he's referring to the exotic animals part.
Llama is just an example.

Seen a couple of zoos with shops like that, mostly for the petting zoo or birds. But even then, it's a rare sight to see this.
I think it sends the wrong message that you can feed animals in a zoo, which is not allowed in most zoos.
There are always a few people that think that the feeding items in the shop are over-priced and buy grocery store replacements to feed them or feeding them leftovers from their lunchbox.

Not a fan of adding such shops. I know it's a game but I think some RL-rules should apply to PZ.

Yeah i can see what you mean. I’ve seen birds, llama, primates (small ones, tamarins) coati, raccoon, boar, deer, maybe a few more. They take from the ration of what keepers should give them that day and let guests give it instead. Of course they should not let there be an abundance of food. I don’t want there to be a wrong message either. Alternately it could work like a guest buys a (limited) ticket and help feed an animal.
