What African animals would you still like to see added?

Africa is the best represented in the game, but I don't think we'll be surprised if we get an Africa DLC anyway. What African animals do you think are worth squeezing into the game?

My absolute top picks are meerkat, fennec fox, black or white rhino, red river hog, fossa, aardwolf, secretary bird, marabou stork, ground hornbill, and grey-crowned crane. Chameleon would be a good exhibit animal. Also... elephant seals and penguins are found on the coasts of Africa. ;)

I love eland, kudu, and gerenuk, but they might be deemed too similar to animals we already have. (like nyala and springbok)

Addax, scimitar-horned oryx, red river hog, Hamadryas baboon, southern white rhinoceros, southern ground hornbill, serval, caracal, grey-crowned crane, black-and-white ruffed lemur, fossa, crested porcupine, and of course the meerkat.

I could go on and on and on but even the list I provided is probably beyond reason. 😅

I think Africa will get two more DLCs. One focused on the desert and another more general. The animals I'd like to see are:

  • Dromedary
  • Addax
  • Meerkat
  • Fennec fox
  • Scimitar oryx

  • Baboon (any species)
  • Crested porcupine
  • African leopard
  • White rhinoceros
  • African wild donkey
  • Secretary bird
  • Giant eland
  • Blue wildebeest (when I think of wildebeest, I think of this species, not the black one)

Maybe also:
  • African spurred tortoise
  • Nile crocodile
  • Black and white ruffed lemur
  • Impala

It's crazy that we have so many animals from Africa already, and yet there's a ton that could still feasibly be added. Some that I would like to see, in no particular order are:

I somewhat believe we will see meerkats and african rhino as these are highly requested, but here is hoping to the other ones too. They are all pretty unique too (except for white rhino and generuk which would be similar to animals we already have).

Then I'd also love more antelopes like the addax, and smaller cats like the caracal and serval.

Wow,there are so many!!! I tried to narrow it down to three dlc packs, but even with 12 animals I had to leave behind some of my favorites, like hamadryas baboon,south african penguin and porcupine

A lot of African animals I’d like to see get in yet but I’ll pick a few. I wouldn’t object to a creasted porcupine but prefer the North American subspecies if one made the roster. Anyway here’s a few I wouldn’t mind in game.
