I don't have any. I don't even know what "AX" means.
Aegis eXperimental, presumably.

Anti Xenos.
So the "AX Xeno Scanner" is the "Anti-Xenos Xeno Scanner"? To be fair my notion is a guess based on standard military nomenclature of our time as I've not seen it officially clarified elsewhere, perhaps you have a source?
Just an assumption, because that acronym would make sense to me. Not seen it clarified anywhere.
Very well then, we shall settle this like gentlemen. Pistols or Swords?
My Ax weapons will gather dust until its shown that :
1) 1 wing can consistently kill thargoids. 2-3 wings killing a thargoid, with an alpha strike, is not intended gameplay and broken. I am anti-social and do not have the patience with the networking in this game to wait for 2-3 wings to get gathered for one kill. Total waste of time. The first week was hella fun. The thrill is gone.
2) 'adapting'. If each week is going to feature nerfs (adapting), I will wait. Currently my policy is to do up to 800T of cargo for whatever Ageis CG it is (2 runs in a cargo anaconda) , and stop. The first week i did 10K tons, but since the 'adaptation' (week 1 nerfs) , the wind is all out of my sails and i will let the chips fall as they may.
3) I really do not like fixed weapons. I know, I know :: GIT GUUD. You know what ? I Dont Care. ,,!,,
I would pay twich prime subscriptions to watch ED with 1 wing of 3 pals from fdev to consistently kill thargoids. Sign me up for this. 2-3 wings insta klling them is . Broken imo.
The first week was great, nothing yet has measured up.
(A)lienE(X)perimental probably, they are the anti-Thargoid weapons in any case.I don't have any. I don't even know what "AX" means.
1 wing can consistently kill a good, just need to be good enough. My Ax weapons will gather dust until its shown that :

You folks are actually thinking about trying to make "optimal use" of these new weapons? You are joking, aren't you? You managed to get one weapon to actually work, and an emergency intervention immediately took them away from you. What exactly do you imagine you are going to be able to do that the devs cannot and will not immediately counter?
You aren't at war against aliens presented by reasonable game masters here. You are at war with the almighty devs, and you don't have a snowball's chance. Period. Bad game masters can appear anywhere - including in computer games.
There is nothing that is stable in the game. Absolutely nothing. The BGS is in complete disarray with the constant measures against the players by the devs to confuse and disorient. There is nothing you can count on, no place for any kind of footing no matter how tentative, except the incredible malice of the game devs.

There have been reports of random Thargoid attacks without any apparent provocation, there have also been reports of Thargoids essentially reacting (defensively?) to player behaviours.Id go engage Thargs, but why? Theyre not attacking any settlement or system.
