Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

Found a nice Water World, undiscovered. It was worth about 5 million. In the old days that would've been a nice find.

But today, in the same system, I found a 1 bio planet that had only Stratum Techtonicas on it. That was worth nearly 100 million.

Times change :)

So, after getting my FC, I figured my grinding days were over?
No chance - First I spend a day delivering Tritium to the carrier, then I run low on credits, so back to the Robigo grind.

This time, I've re-engineered the python, so it can do it in 2 jumps.
Had to ditch a 3E cabin for a 3H Gurdian FSD booster, so less passengers, but now I can do a return trip in sub 10 mins, so ~6 trips an hour @20-25 Million credits per trip.

...Then this happened :)
Wow congrats!

Welcome back and good to hear you are strong enough to handle the worlds heaviest joystick.

First things first, rediscover the fun then start dealing with the rust.
Thanks everyone. Yes I am expecting some degree of fatigue but there are a ffew softer spring kits out there. I remember using the softest spring on the X56. as a severe C5/6 vertibrae issue sufferer; maybe it will be good therapy for me ;)

Planning to stick to Robigo for a bit as combat isn't my strong suit. I do have my Corvette armed with gaus cannons and muti's, but all this orbiting and staying cold mechanics are too much for me so I will probably only fight in hit & fade wing attacks. I loke to hit the buggers really hard in the face then leg it... :)

will likely build myself a good multi switch panel this year as well. Fun project and the hardest bit that I see is deciding what functions I need it ffor,

See you all out in the black soon

mmmmmmm I could use some of that - I really want my own carrier so income is priority to start wwith

Here's a system I just FSS'd, I don't think my value's are up to date. The first moon said 5 biosigns but it's suggesting 8, will that change after I map it? I'm going to do it so I guess I'll find out.

The list will Contain extras when two or more bios are equally likely given the planetary conditions.
Mapping will sort out most of the list but if the Stratum is on the planet which variant will only be found by scanning the actual bio.

My last session was something special...

I actually managed to run out of fuel. Had a few close call until now, but this time it was real.
I was travelling from Khun to Kuk in my Vulture without scoop. Not my first scoopless trip around the bubble, mind you, I knew what I was doing, jumping from one inhabited system to the next, one eye always on the fuel gauge. But I ran out of luck, the system I chose to take fuel in had the closest station about 13k Ls out from the entry star and the jump used more fuel than I had anticipated. I deactivated everything I didn't need to travel to that station and set off. But I came about 2k Ls short when my PP ran out of juice.
Space is dangerous...
For the unprepared.
But I was prepared.
I have the Fuel Rats on speed dial, so to speak. It was a really interesting experience to see how they work.
And they are really fast. I actually could have stayed in my ship the entire time it took them to get me fueled up again.

Yes, I saw that, I do like the program. I think I'll keep using it, after I mapped the moon all the correct data popped in there, great find Gomez. (y)
