Sounds bloody marvellous. I went camping in the mountains last night, due to it being uncharacteristically gorgeous weather.
Ranking up on data from systems i came across with lots of bodies and no tags on...

A visit from the resident Thargoid - he comes by regularly and checks up on things.
About 5km away is an abandoned SRV (blue junk in the middle distance), down in a spooky hollow dense with Tharg fog.
Well worth a visit for the story, and you can pick up a bunch of good mats.

has to be a drone, I just pulled it off the internet after a google search. stuck in work at the moment trying to earn enough to do it all over again this evening - no windows, no fresh air, just recycled sweat and ozone...

Wish I was... Even though I wanted to give it a try, after a few days back in 'civilization' I've headed out into the black again. Can't cope with all the station docking and scrolling through mission boards. Currently about 1,000ly out towards the Bubble Nebula... codex says there's tubeworms out there and I'd like to see some.

The valleys and the Beacons were a local-ish stomping ground for me, you live in some great countryside.
Just had my first go at it yesterday for the engineer grind. Not so sure it's for me...not even sure if I want to unlock those engineers any more...
Mining Void Opals got me into a fully A-rated Federal Corvette with plenty of re-buy cash on hand. It only took me about two weeks mining an hour each day to make that much cash. And blowing up rocks is a lot of fun. Never gets old for me. After my exploration mission I might hit the rings again.
Spent an hour in a traffic jam at Chideok. When I reached Cornwall the weather had become grim. Best I set up my pc and get 'out of it' (the dreariness obviously). lets go! cqc and whisky!

You can't see all the happy passengers with their happy faces pressed to the windows,
because i haven't painted them on yet,but there's plenty of space on the sides for the creative ads boys.When i'm finished i'll probably go and get another Kraite.
It's actually a very nice ship,although the large pad restriction is bound to cause problems at some point. We've been shot at,we've been damaged,but we've survived.Can't ask for much more,really.It will take some time for it to recoup the outlay,but it's made a good start.
