Very geysery today and Fumerola Carbosis, don't think I've seen this color.
In the HAZ RES if you see two ships fighting they are often both wanted which makes it a great opportunity for getting both bounties by helping the weaker/more heavily damaged ship then when that fight is over finishing off the survivor, in my Vette I will send the fighter after one while I take the other, if one of the ships isn’t wanted of course just fight on their side.If I had thought of getting some Limpets, I might have been able to repair myself. But I noticed my focus was waning, so I wanted to make sure the vouchers were handed in. And I didn't want to risk losing the exploration data I had collected on the way there...
I take it you visited the hazardous RES?
For I had an Anaconda fighting on my "team" in the normal RES...
Good to know for later reference. But for now, I think I'll stick to the normal RES with my Viper. In the HAZ RES if you see two ships fighting they are often both wanted which makes it a great opportunity for getting both bounties by helping the weaker/more heavily damaged ship then when that fight is over finishing off the survivor, in my Vette I will send the fighter after one while I take the other, if one of the ships isn’t wanted of course just fight on their side.
Yep. And even after playing this game for many thousands of hours, there's always some more steps that I haven't yet taken. The game is immense.Step by step guys
All I had was stations and settlements - I fully expected it to show up in Settlements but as I have so learned from this - RELOG (if you have an invite!)Did you have a filter applied on the Nav Panel? Maybe hiding Points of Interest?
(I didn't think the X to clear the filters appeared unless one was set)
The hazardous one, yeah. I just had to bail when I suddenly noticed five guys were targetting me and I don't think I even had a fighter out. Not that it would've helped. If I had thought of getting some Limpets, I might have been able to repair myself. But I noticed my focus was waning, so I wanted to make sure the vouchers were handed in. Five guys? That's four too many for me.The hazardous one, yeah. I just had to bail when I suddenly noticed five guys were targetting me and I don't think I even had a fighter out. Not that it would've helped.
Are you in a private group then? I just bumped into a couple of anti-xeno guys and the carnage was fun. There wasn't much time to try my first go at winging up since it was my last run anyway. Though I may go back in later.
And that repair limpet controller is a good idea. I saw your comment before I went back in so I headed next door to Christy Dock and replaced my 3A collector for a repair module instead. It's not like I collect much inbetween finding targets.
It was a messy free for all so I must've accidentally targetted a separate wing after destroying a ship. Not intentional. Just not paying attention. Fun though. I ecaped with my bounties.Five guys? That's four too many for me.
I'm usually in solo. My inconsistent schedule doesn't work well with meeting other players on a regular basis.
Morgan has both a repair and a collector limpet controller. She might miss some fights, but as she is in dire need of materials, she collects all that she can.
She uses the CG as a measure to unlock Tod, also. The money is a welcome bonus for a fledgling commander. And those scanners might come in handy at some point, who knows?
We're you in open? There's usually a bunch of seal clubbers around in Deciat.I had no choice on the relog, I got ganked on my way to Farseer's hideaway.
She could switch that for a combined rescue limpet controller (if she has a size 3 slot available).Morgan has both a repair and a collector limpet controller.
Yeah, it is always advisable to be aware of your surroundings...It was a messy free for all so I must've accidentally targetted a separate wing after destroying a ship. Not intentional. Just not paying attention. Fun though. I ecaped with my bounties.
I tried open for some time, which was fine until I visited an engineer. After getting ganked twice, I returned to solo. But yeah, I mostly play in open but it's still solo play. I can do my own thing when I dip in.
That is a good idea. Cheers. And that K-warrant scanner will definitely come in handy for a new commander looking for cash. Double engineered (I think) so no need to waste mats on fastcan. Stick it on a gimbled fire group and forget it's there.
Well, the Viper doesn't have many slots...She could switch that for a combined rescue limpet controller (if she has a size 3 slot available).
Yes, I was a baby seal back then, I didn't know my a** from a hot rock in those days. We're you in open? There's usually a bunch of seal clubbers around in Deciat.
Unfortunately they tend to be rife in any open multiplayer combat game - seal clubbers are low-level predators which scare new players away and kill good servers… there used to be a saying on Titan, an excellent UT community/server still much missed:We're you in open? There's usually a bunch of seal clubbers around in Deciat.
Nice.A while back here there was some discussion about ED’s galactic regions and the “official” map of the Milky Way - here’s a more detailed, annotated version of the astronomer’s (and far future explorer’s?^) map of the galaxy:

I guess Morgan will do the same whenever the possibility arises.I'm still pew-pewing in the CG. Very satisfactory.
