Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

An nuclear armageddon ensues when the Brussels Sprouts get sold out.
Fixed that for you.

Yeah, I was about to say, such conmflict seems unlikely, as I appear to be the only creature in the universe that actually likes sprouts!

Still, just means more for me! Muahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa!

I assume you don't spend time reading the news. This from yesterday:

I'd like to think that @MaxG10 is expressing incredulity at such nonsense becoming reality o_O

I mean, every time I hear 'Space Force' all I can think of is these guys:

If the real uniforms end up only half so camp and garish, I'll be well amused.

Edit to add:

So how long before the moon is turned into a giant coca cola sign?

Oh man, I hope not, I'm trying to cut down on that stuff as it is!

Given today's actual corporate landscape, I'd imagine either Google or Disney getting the concession.

And then complaining when they realize that carbon dust won't show up on the moon's surface.
But an expanding cloud of sodium aught to, at least at night, but that idea from Watch this Space by AC Clarke would be more temporary.

Sprouts are yum if done right.

Blanch for 5 mins. Quarter and fry with bacon lardons and walnuts (or chestnuts) until the sprout quarters brown and caramelise.

Insert your derriere into your thruster modulr and let rip. No fuel scooping required.

Lovely! When I blanch them, I add two table spoons of sugar to the water (for 1Kg sprouts I'd say) and salt of course, no longer than 3 minutes, into ice water, drie, then half, extra virgin olive oil, salt, in the oven around 160 circotherm until tender, last 5 minutes or so, nutmeg, white kampot, chilli salt, a splash of broth, little bit of cream, reduce quickly, grated parmesan or swiss cheese on top. Delicious.

Albeit being cabbage, sprouts have a slightly different chemistry and 3-5 times raw protein. She might like it if you cook, not only blanch them, in that sugar salt mix, taste is more nutty, and 100% not bitter.

I like sprouts.
With pepper.
I think I'm gonna have go to the shop for some.

Currently doing pirate clobbering missions in the Corvette.
Found a nice compromised Nav Beacon, trying to find a nearby system offering bounties for it.

Reminds me, has anyone a hint what's the best thing to do with bounties. What I mean is, i just saw the pages of bounties that I have piled up, many millions, and I do not want to give 25% to greedy solicitors. Thing here is, I can not identify where some bounties are from, the names are not the system names.

Btw. Guys and Gals (who knows for sure?! ;)), thanks for a lovely 2019 here on this thread in particular. Really nice, would be funny to sit with all of you in a pub I happen to know in Falcarragh, only starting there that is of course, making our way from one to the next, with Paddy O'Toole as our Taxi driver, the funniest I ever came across in Donegal.... sniff.... I miss Ireland. Lived there 14 years. Ah well.... cheers and sláinte!

Yeah, they're faction names. You could spend time figuuring out where all those factions are and visiting in person to cash in the full bounty values...

Or you could use sources like EDDB and Inara to track down those factions to streamline the in game journey to cash all those vouchers in...

Or you could just visit the Interstellar Factor and take the 25% hit...

All hinges on how much leg work you wanna do - you could be looking at a long while figuring out where you need to visit, followed by an equally long road-trip 'round the bubble.

If that sounds like an adventure, go for it

If it sounds like a chore, well, thats what the Interstellar Factor is for;)

Edit: added EDDB and Inara links!

Aaaaaaand:

.... cheers and sláinte!

Cheers! Long may it continue to be so

Interstellar Factors.
Accept all bounties, 25% surcharge.
Have a look on Inara, or just filter Galmap for low security systems, they usually have one.
