In most cases, I at least get the link to the video at the bottom of some blank space. But even that was missing. And I prefer to watch them on YT, anyway.
In other news, I went hunting for some enc & man mats and had the day of the HGE - about six of them in one system. And a nice variety of mats, too.
This put me mind of the _9mother9horse9eyes9 phenomena on Reddit some years ago. No idea why

I'm still on my way back to the bubble so I can buy a fleet carrier. 817 LY from Sol now.
On the way I stopped again at the New Growth asteroid base in the Pencil Sector to offload more data and I'm thinking I must be one of the lucky ones, who has been able to accrue the necessary billions pretty quickly since the Exobiology rewards were vastly increased a few weeks ago. I guess before that it would have taken a fair bit longer, having to rely on mining, trading, exploration or whatever.

I've been finding quite a few varied landscapes with different looking mountains recently. More realistic than some old Horizons landscaper and still interesting.

I absolutely love my new 2k monitor, but I've run into the problem of my screen shots look like crap. I know it has something to do with HDR, but no clue what to do about it. Any of you guys ever come across that problem and how did you fix it?

That's interesting. I switched from 1080p to 1440p a few months back, and all I did was update the game resolution itself.
After that my screenshots were 1440p (using the built-in F10 screenshot key).
I'm not sure if I use HDR, though. Isn't that just automatic, or something?

Windows 10 has an HDR on/off option in settings. I use a 4K monitor with my in-game Res set to 3840x2160.
I think everything look better with the Windows HDR option switched off.
With it on, everything looks washed out.

I have the Windows 11 HDR turned off, the monitor software handles the HDR and yes it is active.

I use HDRi on my BENQ 4k monitor and if I chose "Game" mode - Elite is stunning.
(W10 HDR turned off though 'cos ED does not provide an HDR output.)
