Hi All
Some pics, as promised:

A bit gloomy but tussock, recepta, tubus and (on the ridge line at top left) aleoida. It was like this everywhere and you could almost complete the sampling just by walking.

Clypeus with a field of aleoida behind.

Aleoida as far as the eye can see.
Somewhere, there are concha and fungoida to be found, which might take the payout for this little rock up to 300mil!
Interesting pictures

...gives me that 'I need to go exploring feeling'!

...because...
I've been fairly busy (with a growing sense of boredom) building a large planet based port on / in Hip 90024 1.
I went for a largish Industrial port just so's I had the facility to dock my Cutter, Federal Corvette etc. and park some of my other ships. Just completed it within the last hour or so but have yet to dock there for the first time. It's took me approximately over two weeks to build btw. but I broke that time up with a few trade missions etc. Just for variety.
I haven't decided on a name for this new station yet (It's called Chawla Terminus...game generated) but I have one or two in mind I might customise with Arx.
I doubt I'll be creating any more large ports again anytime soon, the prospect of hauling stuff again to that degree in the near future might send me crazy!
Through sheer tiredness and lack of concentration (brought on by the A to B repetitive play) I ploughed my shield less Cutter at one point into the planet surface...quite hilarious though, the re-buy was no problem but the loss of a full 768t of steel cargo and another extra round trip.

...but it relieved the monotony!
My carrier is leaving (with me on board) at the moment on a short exploratory (self induced) mission in the region of the core bubble systems, which might prove interesting.
Must say though, the achievement I felt just now when I saw the points of interest menu showing up the new station on the planet system map was good...just wish some of the mechanics of it wasn't so...yeah, have to say it...mind numbing. Still, that's the choices you have, so can't really complain I suppose.

Strange, I felt a bigger buzz creating this planet based station (when it was finally built) than I did with the Coriolis station, for some reasons.
Okay, I've just arrived at a system a few light years from Sol, I'll probably spend an hour or so here then head back to Hip 90024 and have a closer inspection at what I've created!

.
I might
then head out and do some Bio Exploration as a welcome break!
Jack
