Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

ATM parked on a station, waiting to continue on after i leave work.
Yesterday i went about doing some courier missions and scanning all systems visited in the process, also went about going out away into more unknown space, and got to scan & map complete systems, that i cannot pronounce the names here since they are long and i dont remember fully the names, but i did got one of the mappings return that i was the 1st one to do it so im happy something as my callsign atached to it now, wich is so good as an explorer to see.
I got to trailblazer from that and that system alone netted me a cool 900k+ profit wich putts me on the 4 million mark atm with less than 50 hours of gameplay done.
(Also to mention i got a DiamondBack Explorer, fully kitted with the profits made from my gameplay so far)
Planning to go out tonight again, this time even further and map systems i didnt visit yet and be on the lookout for those all important planets that when u scan give u those nice bucks...
I have a goal, not that i really, really need to go there to explore, from what ive seen the ship i got in its current configuration with 32Ly jump is more than enough for what i want, but i seen to be drawn into having the Krait Phantom as my ship so that is my goal in the mid - long term...
My DBX is also kitted for looks (color, names, decals, frame), since i wanted to go out with the looks i like to set me somewhat apart from the rest of the pack. (did capture a screenshot but came out blank)

Nice! I'm excited to see how you get on with your new PC. I'm watching for your impressions, as well as following Tyres on his journey to Restoration on his and wishing only good things for you both in getting those machines running!
I still like my DBX but that cockpit is just a bit cramped for my comfort, so long range stuff sits with my Phantom or Asp X.

Well, all parts correct, security seals intact.
Managed to get the case out of the box...ooer. Things have changed quite a bit in the last 20 years.
Fitted the 7A powerplant.
Now examining case internals, taking notes and formulating a battle plan.
Edit: Test fitting of all necessary screws. Much muttering and grumbling, excess paint fouling threads.

Ah! A proper engineering problem.
Solution 1 paint stripper.
Solution 2 use a tap, solution 2a use a needle file to turn a screw into a tap.
Solution 3 use a bigger hammer.
Solution 3 is always popular.
The above assumes that it is the holes that have two much paint not the screws.

Fitted Motherboard and gpu. That's all the main bits in the case. Memory sticks maybe in wrong slots, meh.

Seeing you post and as this is the “What are you up to thread,” I’m currently visiting systems that you’ve tagged, in fact I may even be stalking you I’ve dropped into that many with your name on. My alt account is out with DW2 and I’ve been around various nebula beyond Omega whilst seeing your tag all over the place.
Despite that I’ve finally made the most of the new system to find a tonne of my own Geographical and Biological POIs which had eluded me prior to the the new FSS.
Meanwhile, my primary account Cmdr has swapped the Thargoid bashing T10 set up for an armed and well shielded mining build for long term mining sessions. With the array of multi cannons the pirates that drop in when I log back in don’t fare well.
Tyres, hope you’re back up and running soon. I was without my PC for a couple of weeks in late Nov and I went a bit crazy missing ED.
Wow, that's my PS4 account. I'm not part of the DW2 expedition, but went out to offer protection/assistance to any Commanders after reading some of the forum threads. Stayed at Omega for a while, didn't see anyone, very quiet on PS4.
Before heading back I went straight down, got a few interesting systems.
Finally got to grips with the FSS.[up]
Maybe it was ‘under’ Omega that I saw your tags. Whilst the CG was going on I was exploring over and under as well as around nebula (looking for Lagrange clouds, still yet to find one myself.) I think you’re the first forum member, other than the well known explorers like Alitnil, that I’ve stumbled across whilst out and about.
Rep for coming out to offer protection. I seem to be safely ensconced in Fleetcom despite rumours and paranoia of infiltrators. That said, I’ve seen the stats of downed Cmdrs on the PVP sub forum so plenty did come unstuck it seems.
