Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

Thanks, soup was delicious indeed, 7 hours in the crockpot, then leek, bacon white wine, broth for 20 minutes in the pan, stir in sour cream, grate some fresh ginger, and mix with the rest of soup, a couple of slices swedish bread, done. A nice wee winter warmer.

As for crockpot, is there space for it in the imperial courier, if not, I am not buying. :)

My crockpot is currently warming up some mulled wine, as it is bloody freezing on the plains of Kildare tonight!

Your neighbour was Fritz Rodewald?...?

Back from my exploration mini-break. Sitting outside Jameson with my Cobra III and it's G4'd long range wake scanner, sucking up data. Only three lots of DWE's so far but I have some cool, spacey music playing in the background so it's a very relaxing time.

Yeppers! RIP

Helped him selling his place before he went back to Germany. Sadly he passed short after. I tried to convince him not to sell, I thought it was an error of judgement to go back to -D- after all that happened to him. He was quite a character. Knocked one night on my door, scared less, because someone put a bullet into... well, you know, the Northern Ireland thing and all.

Hahaha, but a rather harmless story I can share here without doubts.

In his last years he had that idea to go to Alaska and catch a Salmon. - Actually, he had them ideas quite often, like that giant parrot on his shoulder all of the sudden. what is that now Fritz? ROFL -What do you know, he did go to Alaska, paid insane bucks for a couple of days in a remote hut with no facilities. Well, on his return we sat over a couple of glasses and I asked him about fishing. Good thing was he had already a few, so he did not do the Münchhausen on me, but explained that he bought a mighty impressive Salmon at the duty free on his return, unwrapped it, put it in clean film, and claimed to his folks that he had caught this one himself.

Matter of fact was, he caught zilch, nada, zero, but paid through his nose for this trip and the mighty Salmon of course. Hehehe, I can see him making up the story of the one-on-one fight, Fritz vs. Alaskian Salmonzilla :)

P.S. They bloody can't pour a decent Guiness in these parts of the world. Useless. ;) Reminds me, LOL, once I wanted to make a gift to a friend in Arizona, a special whiskey of course, and I talked to someone I knew at Bow Street. Turned out it was cheaper to purchase that special Irish in Chicago and send it per over night courier to Phoenix, than purchasing the bottle alone in Éire, yes, the whiskey including the courier was cheaper in the UIS than the whiskey alone directly from the distillery in Dub.... you couldn't make it up.... Now, enough of them old man stories. LOL

I am even more lazy with a 5A scoop in my AspX. Deploy scoop.... 3.....2.....1.... retract scoop.

How do you get along with that Didi dude? Honestly, I want to throw him in a cheap cargo box and ditch him into a nuetron ride,, yeah, you go it, I can't stand him!

I had a feeling when I heard about that brandy thing, but Heck he is even worth, besides pretty much a one trick pony, but behaves as if he is the King of engineers, jabbers all day long in his high pitched whiny voice, and then that spit always throwing bubbles in the corners of his mouth, disgusting, let alone that stench of cheap Sirius hooker perfume, unreal! Besides he thinks he is gorgeous and always fiddles with his ridiculous head implants.

Obnoxious sucka.

Anyways what did you get, he is useless for shield generators.

;)
I'll be honest, I haven't really been paying any attention to what the engineers say or do... I got a grade 3 thermal resistance (27% was what I had mats to roll for). Will come in handy when I'm out hunting with my Vulture.

Also got G3 DD on my thrusters now, and G3 or 4 charge enhanced PD, don't remember which. I could get my pacifiers in 9 days (tuesday) if I get around to get the merits before Thursday, if not I get it on the Thursday, so only 2 days later. Starting to feel a bit more comfortable engineering, but I need to get more raw and encoded materials especially.

I get my raw's from goe's these days.

Encoded are from scanning ships while SCing to my destination, sitting outside a busy station using the FWS or going to Jameson's crash site to pick up a full load of that G5 and trading it.

Of course, Dav's can be quite lucrative too if you scan the beacon and any ships on every "lap".

And today, I have to do some non-profit work redoing blueprints as some got "lost". Again.

Would be interested on your thoughts re them pacifiers. As for the engineer, I was just taking the mickey of course.

My engineering is trapped now, I figured there are only two ways to get the shields up to G5, and one way involves travelling, 20,000 ly to Colonia.... whistles Tango... Then again, I might try to calculate a Homebase -> Colonia neutron jump sequence to see how quick that would be.
