A post-script to my previous post. The mission boards were not quite so kind to me upon resuming my Cutter quest. It took more than twice the time I predicted, and since I had my combat Krait I began mixing in Terrorist and Pirate Lord missions to speed it up, choosing ones with Rep+++++ rewards. After crossing the Duke line I paid my bar tab and flew Poison Whiskey to Jameson.

The man behind the counter looked at me sideways, but when I laid 425m credits down he perked right up. Right this way, commander.

And wow, what a ship. I bought all the modules I wanted, got rid of the SCA, put Tactical Ice on it, and did some engineering before strapping in to fly it home. Didn't scrape any paint through either slot, and quite pleased with myself about that. Set her down, and the newest addition to my fleet, christened Preacher's Daughter, was home.

The ship will be sharpened and the engineering finished out The shields had just come off the combat Krait when I swapped to bi-weaves, and I had a G5 thermal shield booster laying about. Everything else is new. I'm a small and medium ship commander at heart, and this is only my fourth large pad ship. Two of those were sold, retaining only the magnificent Orca. But now I have two, and I am very impressed with my new boat.

I appear to attract warnings like ants to a picnic. 15 points for one alone.

I have found a ring that is the most lucrative I have ever found. Metal Rich, only has 2 hotspots. Been her nearly 2 days.

104t Osmium
78t Silver
31t Platinum
45t Monazite
124t Gold
14t Rhodplumsite
18t Painite
and around 45t of various other odds and sods.

@sinisalo I’m thoroughly enjoying your updates.

I’m tempted by the Cutter but I’m still concerned about manoeuvrability, I do a fair bit of SSD mining, I can just barely manage in the Python, I get a lot of Trit that way and whilst I’m near the Bubble right now, so buying Trit, this will not always be the case and I cant justify 2 mining ships.

I think I’m giving a (sort of) new CMDR a lift back to the Bubble later, from a Guardian site.

Being in the Bubble is great for Combat ranking (32% Deadly) being near the Bubble is great for mining but I’m getting the urge...the Black beckon. I have some decisions to make.

is there a simple way to see what's been going on in my FC market?
I put a load of stuff up, I don't actually remember the amounts
where can I see what has been sold and how much profit?

I don’t think you can, specifically, not like ‘yesterday sold 6t biowaste’, the best you have is the summary in Commodity Trading, in Carrier Management, at the bottom it tells you total overall profit. Other than that I think you’re just supposed to keep an eye on your stock.

I find the cutter's slow input and movement actually helps with manoeuvring, especially as I'm no youngster and hand eye co-ord is off
