Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

Ah! So you're a purist - none of that modern teabag nonsense for you then! Of course, you missed a couple of vital points:

1) Always use freshly drawn water
2) Warm the teapot before adding boiling water
3) Use a tea cosey.
Actually that is the way I make tea with teabags, I don’t remember how many decades it is since I used loose tea.

I did say warmed teapot.

I did forget the cosy.

Sooooo.....

I built me a nice new mining boat...IST - Gold Digger...

Aaaaand...for the first time ever...I went straight to Deciat to engineer it "out of the box" ...Now I find myself in need of certain...materials...

So my next step will be...off to find the Wizard, the wonderful wizard of mat trading...so then I can come back and finish the job...properly...

If you guys haven't seen a moon collision in the game, D2EA did a live stream 2 days ago for that recent one in the bubble. I wasn't there, myself. It's interesting to see how confused the game gets when 2 bodies intersect like that. Of course it doesn't model any sort of collision effects, but ships and CMDRs become attached to one body or the other as things move through, resulting in very odd behaviors. Kinda fun to see if you haven't. Skip ahead to see the actual "collision" and various shenanigans.

I'd just like to stress that both my mother and my Terran Aunt sensibly enough raised me to make plain Sun (or Altair) Tea - you can then just throw in a lemon or garnish or all the sugar you want in that mighty refreshin' beverage.

Hey, their words not mine, they said you might as well throw a teabag in your hummingbird feeder if you like sweet tea!!

I'd settle for almost any beverage at the station bars - alls they gots is components lately, I'm sooo dryyyy
