What Challenge Have You Set Yourself?

So many, and I'm really bad at setting priorities. Having fun is keeping me from progress.. Just like in real life. :D So, in no particular order:

- rank up FED and get a Covette (currently Ensign)
- decide about next ship to buy and grind nuff cash (currently owning Python, FAS, DBX, ASP-X (or sold it already?), Dolphin) - swap FAS for FGS? Or go for Type-10, or better Chieftain, oh all these choices!!!)
- experiment more with modifications and modules
- git gud at NPC combat (I'm okay most of the time, but there is some space for progress)
- get Elite combat rank (currently Master)
- find out more about that guardian stuff and visit some locations
- get some AX weapons and take vengeance for my passengers that were eaten by a Thargoid some weeks ago
- finally become a social being (haha!) and find other people to test wing missions

ehhhh...nothing less than rule the milky way to bring love and happyness?

(note to me:Excellent answer, Bronco!)

100K unique systems visited, seeing where the game has to go, and on somewhat of a whim, getting my Vulture out to Beagle Point on DW2.

I can always mess around with the Engineers now and then some more when I can get around to it. Generally don't have much desire to bother messing around with other players in the game, so no real rush or anything, of course.

Was kind of looking forward to the Chieftain, but not so much after testing it in the betas. Might not bother with it now, but we'll see.

Too many to list. But my whole way of playing the game is based on setting goals and then new goals. Get this ship, visit this nebula, get this station for that faction, uncover new mysteries...

In a sandbox game like this I find it the only way to play, less you find yourself with 'nothing to do' in a galaxy full of things to do.
