What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

I hope everybody got well into the new year 🥳

Now work is soon upon me (most likely also some of you) so I am happy about being able to have played Planet Zoo, abit more than normally.
I managed to make finish another project today, where I made a habitat for the Arctic Fox, I kinda tried to combine a "special" looking building, with viewing inside with an outside habitat, I think it went alright

Here is a little preview of it (you can´t see everything, but most of it. I have more screenshots on my workshop)

Have a wonderful day/evening everybody.

Started a brand new Sandbox zoo today, in the Temperate European climate, Le Menagerie (I'm open to other suggestions) Near the foothills of mountains in France, this is a small village zoo. I did it in sandbox because I'm trying out some things with null barriers and terrain that I wasn't sure I wanted to fool with on franchise. That, and it's been a long while since I've played a Sandbox zoo (as opposed to just fiddling with construction). As if I don't have about two dozen that I've started lol.

Anyways, some options are turned off like escapes and barriers degrading, animals deaths and fights are turned off as are litter and crime, power and clean water for everything. Trying to do a mix of what I want to worry about and what I don't.

Currently has the Arctic Fox, Alpine Ibex, European Badger, Fallow Deer. It's going to be "mainly" European themed, but I may end up sneaking some few other animals in for an "around the world" section eventually.

I think I got quite a lot done considering I just started on it today (though I'd already created the restaurant a few weeks back, it seemed a perfect place to use it)

I built a wooden path divider/cover for the european area of my franchise zoo today.

On one side of the path divider/cover is a Lynx habitat that still needs more detailing (you can catch a glimpse of it in the first photo), and one another side I plan to have a European badger habitat.

The path cover is designed to have an alternating height and a slight indent that fits a small bench and creates a sense of separation between the benches.

It has been a while (like two or three weeks) since I've posted here because I didn't really play much during the holidays. But after the break which was much needed (not only in PZ but more importantly also in things like university), I'm back with some pictures of the current progress in Biopark. Next to the lemurs I started the construction of the indoor habitat of the Aldabra giant tortoises. It took me quite a while to figure out a good looking style of the dome. It was a pain to build it, so I'm even more happy how it turned out. The building is not finished yet, in addition an outdoor enclosure will also be added.

Edit: I wanted to post another picture but for some reason I just can't upload this particular picture, so I have to leave you just with one photo today.

I've finished the Outdoor Part of my Pygmy Hippo Enclosure (except hiding the Terrain Edge with Rocks) and got the first 3 in there. I've also finished the Decoration for its Education Board. Before this, I needed to figure out how to solve a Problem because it wouldn't let me make the Water deep enough

Looks really good so far!

As for the other pic: there is a limit of 1MB for pics you can upload so it's probably too big. When you resize it a little or save it in a slightly lower quality it should work :)

Thank you!
I didn't upload it directly on the forums, I use imgur and then post the img link here. For some reason, imgur doesn't like the one picture, I really have no clue why.

Happy New Year everyone! After a much needed holiday break, I'm back at home and that means also back in the game! I still have this week off from work (YEAH), so I will probably spend a few more hours in my zoo. Yesterday, I reworked the Ibex and Dall Sheep habitat which I had left in an unhappy state. I like it a lot more now. I'm on the notebook right now, so I might show a picture later. If I get to play later this evening, I will either start a lynx habitat or some kind of reindeer habitat connected to a food court or christmas market. I actually want to do the lynx, but this means building around another mountain and I'm a bit tired of that, as much as I like the challenge of a non-flat map.

Oh, AND I ordered pieces for a new computer over christmas! So hopefully I will be able to build slightly larger zoos in a few weeks. Everything is going to be new except for the graphics card due to those completely insane prices, but mine is okay enough, I hope. It should still increase the performance a lot.

Haven't played today, but yesterday: finished up a semi-underground staff area and decorated the top so guests can't see, and also started my very first walk-in habitat (llamas). I'm building them a shelter from scratch, which is a big project for me, because building frustrates me to no end sometimes lol, but it's going well so far and I'm happy with it.

Finished the custom fencing of the fewing points of the Rhinos in Unity. Planned three ways into different sections to be able to work on multiplie once and quit the game quite overwhelmed...
