What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

Gave this building a makeover by removing 8 of the original 11 towers and simplifying the color scheme.

Inside is a common wombat habitat plus toilets, information kiosks, and viewing areas for cassowary and dingo.

Finished the backstage area of the tapir habitat and started the basic outline of the main outdoor enclosure. The tapirs now share their space with a group of capybaras.
The idea is that a modern stable was added next to the house, to have more indoor space and enough room for separating animals.

That's what the building looks so far from both sides:

Here is a rough plan of the area with all the animals I plan for. Not sure about the peccary yet.
Originally I planned to add the otters directly into the building but I've decided to give them their own house (together with the bush dog).

This side of the building will have the indoor enclosures for the anteater and some aviaries using the props by @Captain Callum.

Is the concept here based on the South American house of the Koln Zoo? Looks cool, a modernized old building.

The tapir and capybara habitat is finished.

This bridge leads to the side entrance/exit of the building and separates the tapir/capybara area from the anteater/rhea habitat but I've built a gate under it, so in theory the two habitats could be combined.

Also, I added some more details to the backstage area like doors and a canopy.

I'm a beginner, and I drew a blueprint for my third zoo today.
I've labeled each area so I don't forget about the classification criteria 😅 I hope it goes well
I'm not a beginner and I probably SHOULD be making blueprints
The tapir and capybara habitat is finished.

Tiger Forest is almost complete 😄 here are two of my fav angles of the exhibit at night, which is the result of today's small detail work. Might make a dedicated thread for the zoo to give an image-only tour of the area once it's all done.
Gibbon indoor space and some backstage stuff are the only things left to do before I can move onto Australia!
Dang, the details. Wish I lived there. I gotta get back into PlanZo
