Gave this building a makeover by removing 8 of the original 11 towers and simplifying the color scheme.
Inside is a common wombat habitat plus toilets, information kiosks, and viewing areas for cassowary and dingo.

South America is nearing completion
Finished the backstage area of the tapir habitat and started the basic outline of the main outdoor enclosure. The tapirs now share their space with a group of capybaras.
The idea is that a modern stable was added next to the house, to have more indoor space and enough room for separating animals.

Here is a rough plan of the area with all the animals I plan for. Not sure about the peccary yet.
Originally I planned to add the otters directly into the building but I've decided to give them their own house (together with the bush dog).
This side of the building will have the indoor enclosures for the anteater and some aviaries using the props by @Captain Callum.

Yes exactly! I'm glad so many people recognize the building
I just made it much larger because in the storyline of my zoo this is the historical pachyderm house which was renovated and is now a South America house.
I kept adding things to the entrance of Faunopolis, including a restroom building and a train station. I barely use transport rides in the game because when the zoo is big enough to add them, then I don't have room for the tracks, so this time I'm including the train from the beginning.
Today, I built an exhibit for capybaras and boat-billed herons, but unfortunately, we don’t have actual small wading birds like the boat-billed heron. So, I had to use some "block birds" made by creators as substitutes.

I love how you included the bird protection dots on the viewing glass. Great looking habitat!

Might make a dedicated thread for the zoo to give an image-only tour of the area once it's all done.Gibbon indoor space and some backstage stuff are the only things left to do before I can move onto Australia!

So I decided to make a tropical dome called Jaguar World, which houses, well, jaguars, but also caiman, Andean bear, and some birds. But first, you need to go through a entrance building, which houses Hoffman's two-toed sloth.
Looks really nice! Love the sightline with the castle in the background
