What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

Actually, minor request: does anybody have any footage of a thylacine in-game? I looked on YouTube, but there's isn't much footage. Basically, I want a video of the thylacine walking around, as if it were like a documentary of sorts: no UI, no man-made objects (except for maybe chain link fencing).

What I wanna do is make a "documentary" of the Taz tiger using a model that matches the game (it's like a weird pet peeve; I don't like to use pics of real animals in the game. They have to be in-game animals or clipart)
I’ve been planning on doing this for ages - I’m building Beaumaris (Hobart) zoo (where the last ever footage was filmed) but haven’t yet gotten round to getting the mod or video done…. I have an empty enclosure though.

Give me Dholes pls thank you
Aye!
How do people do those curved buildings??? Every time I try the roof ends up all jagged with gaps.
It's actually not as difficult as you might think.
Placing the roof takes some time, but once you've got it, all you have to do is copy it again and rotate it using the mud pillar.
For example, I find it easier to build something like this if you build it with the world axis (ie the object axis and world axis are the same). Turning and rotating is then easier. The finished building can later be put in the right place.
African Wild Dogs are always underrepresented in the community. Haven't build for them in a long time, too.
My favourite animals are Sea lions and Asian Small Clawed Otter, but don't know if they fit your concept.
Since König chose the dholes, I'll place otters and sea lions for you :giggle:
I have no concept :ROFLMAO:

No pics, unfortunately, but here we go:

Montego Bay Zoo has opened. You walk in and you see our first enclosure, the gray seal pool, sponsored by @Swjosdotschka.

Next up, we venture into our first section, Australia, funded by the Konig Foundation. They donated a group of roos and a pair of dingos...

And, that's it
Aaaawww, happy to be part of your zoo, kind of. Will you show some pics later?

This part of Bear Lake Park was difficult to build in because of the landscape/terrain and it's also hard to take nice pics, but here you have snow leopards and Eurasian lynx:

I've been playing around with terrain a little more and been plotting out where I want various habitats in this current zoo I'm working on! Its working name is Green Glades but that might change later down the line.

A few other spots for my 'cold regions' Asia zone near my big Seasons Garden (Japanese Macaque and Crane) that I don't think I posted about. Getting ready for that leopard to come in! My favourite of the big cats so I'm looking forward to it.

And then the area I've focused most of today on, the 'warm regions' Asia zone! There are definitely a couple other species I plan to squeeze in here, but for now this is what I'm working on. I got the otter/binturong/tapir mixed habitat done with probably just a few bits of polish left to go:

Carnivora. I dare you to make a zoo with only members of Carnivora
Noooo thats boring!

Most people wont admit it, but ungulates are the foundation of every zoo and with good reason.
It would be boring to just see carnivores everywhere, its the mix that makes it nice.
Carnivoras and Ungulates are literally the meat and potatos of any zoo, your missing out when you dont have a good ballance as they help each other shine

Ungulates are a myth😱...

Ok, compromise:

Crazy Cats

Cunning Canines

Phenomenal Primates

Unique Ungulates

Ruthless Reptiles (bonus points if you include a Ruth in there)

True, though. Carnivora does make up the majority, but it gets dull when you don't have any herbivores or reptiles or birds. It's a delicate balance

Don't worry, there won't be only carnivores in my zoo.
But when you're pushed in a certain direction, it's a little easier for me.
The 3 animal species help me a lot with the design, real landscapes are created in my head.
But I'm sure it will take a few more weeks, I'll finish building the parking lot and the road first.

I need more birds Mr. Quell! Do something!

I want to start a new franchise zoo, but I can't decide between a high budget desert zoo or a smaller farm-like (with animals like the capys, llamas, przewalski horse, etc) lower budget zoo.

I have recently started a tropical zoo called Azurii zoo, but I kind of lost the inspiration for the project at the moment.

I'll do my best. Does Frontier accept bribes?

If it were up to me, I'd do the farm zoo. I have yet to see a nice farm zoo, so it would be nice
