Playing PlanetZooParking again after a while...
Can't wait to finally play Planet Parking again too. I think I might go with a Parking Lot this Time instead of a Parking Garage (I assume the new Maps are as big as the old ones, so there should be enough Space)
Too big roads, you can definitely fit in 200 more parking spaces /s . Aha yeah got to love planet parking , my favourite time of yearPlaying PlanetZooParking again after a while...

Not too big if you want buses and two cars driving into opposite directions to be able to navigate between those spaces easily, so I decided to waste some space insteasd of causing those poor bus drivers even more headaches xD
@Nioell I would never have the patience to build a huge car park, plus it bugs me that we only have the jeep to place and no cars! But yours looks fab.
I had to restart my franchise town today, I was having all sorts of issues with pathing - my best binturong died from dehydration and a wombat was starving and I only noticed when I saw (belatedly) the pop-ups. So I just decided to make a few blueprints from my builds and start again in a new zoo. The pathing is much better this time around and I have had no issues fingers crossed
This is my updated play area, which I think turned out a bit better this time (my darn blueprint wouldn't place for it so I built it anew):
And the overview of my zoo so far - lots more to do on it of course, but I now have the wombat apartments

There are some pretty good Car Blueprints on the Workshop
I made some canva designs to use as posters and liven up gift shops, entrance areas, etc. (Feel free to download and use them in your own zoos! Just don't repost them elsewhere please) I'd like to make a few more. 12 in total for a calendar would be cool. Are there any specific days anyone would like to see a design for?

As most I'll do miniature lots for staff areas, but otherwise I tend to build my entrance flush with the map border and just 'imply' that there's parking and road access in the void beyond.
I find it ok. The Thing I don't really have Patience for is building proper Citys and Villages outside of the Zoos. @dinosaurchestra those are beautiful! Are you a professional in graphics? There's a website with all the animal days through 2022, you could do one for each month - like January 20th was Penguin Awareness Day, Feb 19th was World Pangolin Day etc.
Yesterday I built a new habitat for beavers and raccoons, totally forgot beavers should not have wooden barriers and this little guy made short work of it

I've been working on a new lil Sandbox zoo on one of the career maps (Maple Leaf Wildlife Park, I think?), and the focus of this zoo is just Small Animals.
So far I have the red fox, European badger, black-tailed prairie dog, North American beaver, a striped skunk and raccoon mixed habitat, arctic foxes and a Creepy Cave area where I've started to set up for various exhibits and habitat reptiles. I have the bats in and they look amazing. Haven't taken pictures of everything, but here are some I do have!
Looking back over these now, I'm probably gonna stick a bunch of the new PVC curtains on various shelters next time I'm playing!
