What do real zoos have that PZ does not but should have other than animals?

We discussed this in another forum and there were some interesting ideas.
I wondered what if PZ had school groups come to the zoo. Maybe a group of 20 or 30 children? And many are wanting to see handicap features including a guest in a wheelchair. And how about more ambience items like insect emitters? would you like to see butterflies and dragonflies or even fireflies in your zoo? And many have said they want an interactive playground, but I think that's a bit too much.
What are your thoughts?

To name few.
1. Birds
2. Backstages
3. Feeding shows ( educators kinda do that sometimes when they throw food, but it dont feel the same)
4. Composter building (poop is going somewhere afterall)
5. Magazines
6. Option for guest to adopt certain animal. I think almost every zoo site has such option. Would be neat
7. VIP tours

Playgrounds and some kind of interactive educational kiosks comes to mind. I really miss those interactive buildings the guests could use, right now the only things they use are shops. But I guess the game is more focused on animals, unlike PlanCo.

The list is long, but what comes to my mind right away are these:

Playgrounds
Aviaries
Aquariums/Tanks
Backstage areas and gate systems (including several ways into one habitat for staff!)
Going with the insect emitters OP mentioned: Butterfly houses where the guest can simply relax

Proper gift shops
Carousels and other simple amusement rides (I wouldn't particularly care for these though tbh)

  • Dumpsters
  • Hoses that are on a roll/hook
  • Locks and pulley systems for back of house
  • Animal gates and doors between dens and exhibits
  • Multiple staff entrances per habitat
  • Golf buggies for staff transport
  • Education carts/displays
  • Photo op scenery (where you put your face between fox ears, that sort of thing
