When were the city lights on the darkside of planets added?

Has anyone ever seen an undiscovered earth like with city lights on the dark side?

Not that I know of....in my explorations I always look for that in every ELP I find..and I must say, have found just a few. Certain criteria would shed light on those though, for starter, I expect to find them in an ELP which is as old or older than Earth...since it took few billions of years to have vertebrate life, let alone intelligence.

The day I find one with city lights on..I will s**t in my pants! And come here screaming!!

To be honest, I was left a bit cold by how PowerPlay sounds - I'm very happy being an unaligned sole-trader and explorer.

Equally I am also very happy to be along for what I expect to be a most excellent ride.

I really wish they would add this. It give explores more profits for finding a advance civilization. Could you imagine landing on the planet and the reception the aliens would give you.

When I was out exploring at PUELEIA OD-A D14-97 had two objects shoot past my ship and then disappear about 10 seconds later off my scope. Weird that the two jumped past at same time.

Ditto. Also, an ELP with enough tech to show lights from orbit might well have space junk in orbit around it, like Earth used to back in the 21st century.

Most explorers wouldn't go near a WSS/USS/SSS even if they saw one out there , no shields, no guns, and definitely no cargo scoop...

I got no guns, but I kept my shields for emergencies and I kept the cargo scoop. I'm good to go, if I find anything out there.

Indeed, and logically, if they haven't been discovered yet, or are not discoverable, there is a chance (no matter how small or large) they aren't live yet.

He states there are things in space that are not celestial objects. They are already there and they can be discovered.

He should know, i believe he's part of the team that develops this game.
