Looks like my material collector Cobra IV will lose a size 2 cargo rack and get a research limpet controller instead. The remaining size 4 corrosion resistant is enough.

I think a scout/explorer would be really useful. I would happily have it look like the interplanetary shuttle or lifter out of FE2/FFE for old times sake.

Use research limpets on those new space aliens in lagrange clouds. I bet you will get some of those stuff. I never done it but i believe it works that way.

Hopefully they'll rethink how the composition scanner is used too.

Edit: Or just give us one data+composition scanner that behaves differently when it can be targeted yet still does something visible when interesting things pass under the reticle.
