What else do you hope to see in E: D "Beyond".

A surprise implementation of basic spacelegs, standing up walking around the bridge at least.

or npc implementation to show up in the extra seats. npc acts as basic autopilot in SC

Honestly, if they pulled the surprise space legs I'd be overjoyed haha, even if it was just our ships for starters.

Things I'd like to see in addition to what the Expo announced for 2018:

  1. Another SRV with more cargo room.
  2. Some new surface bases and orbital platforms with small landing pads only.
  3. Imperial Explorer ship, or Alliance Explorer ship, just basically a new ship designed for exploration that can match or best the Anaconda for jump range, but with great visibility out the front and sides of the cockpit.
  4. Module wear and tear out in deep space, make the AFMU great again!
  5. Everything I ask for in the link in my signature.

If the AFMU becomes a required piece of equipment, that would mean the end of exploration in the sidey.

More core gameplay improvements.

Better missions with more complexity and payouts that scale with your ship/ranking.

More integration with the BSG (so your actions actually have a discernible effect).

Power play integrated into the BSG/Minor and Major Factions and the powerplay tasks to be more than Kill X ships and transport these leaflets.

The ability to jump to specific planets rather than just stars if system has been scanned.

Actual PVP that isn't just ganking or a mode outside the main game.

Improvements to CZ and RES/Nav beacons so it's not just whack a mole ship farming till you get bored.

Actual Piracy game play.

Proper worthwhile smuggling game play.

The major factions to do something, ANYTHING but do SOMETHING.

I could go on and on and on with this.

EDIT - So I'll do a few more

Remove unlock requirements for Engineers.

Dramatically reduce the grind for Rankings. .04% per mission is horrid!

An incentive to play in Open as IMO there just isn't one (used to play Open, now only play PG or solo as it's just not worth it).

In game tools to create minor factions.

In game tools to find the closest station that sells X ship or Y module or Z commodity.

A boost to jump ranges across the board to reduce boring travel time.

Multicrew as was originally described.

The ability to buy a module from any station and have it shipped to the station you are at (at a cost).

That is a pretty solid list right there.....couldn't care less about PVP, Open or PP so i'd pass on those but basically every gameplay element of the game, every career, every mechanic and all of the RNG content needs a rework or improvement IMO

NPC Multicrew.
NPC looking after your ship and/or flying the fighter when in SRV
NPC in SRV
NPC escape pods.

System status that means something (famine/anarchy/outbreak)
BGS that follows supply/demand from resources to finished products.

Top speed obtainable without afterburner. afterburner just provides acceleration/manoeuvrability boost.
*Much* faster and more agile/twitchy small ships - like 1000-2000m/s.
More agile medium ships.
Much stronger but more sluggish large ships.

Bring back more colourful, varied, fun and a few more impossible planets. Mitterand Hollow is a great example.
Life in stations.. Workers, more vehicles, skimmers and other service drones etc.

A Hangar so that we can actually see our ships side by side.

A COMPLETE rework of Engineers and PP to something meaningful.

Far too much other stuff to write here.

Animated head movement for avatars corresponding to mouse or VR look around, so that friends in the same multicrew session can see that I turn my head towards them in VR!

Severe penalties for CMDRs who serial kill just for fun. Stop them docking at star ports, do something, I'm going back to solo playing; like many more have.

Great to see this post still inspiring discussion.

One other thing I would like to see, in regards to missions, is the non-combat difficulty of missions to increase in relation to rank/payout of said missions.

I still think Powerplay could be better integrated with Minor Factions.

1. Instead of saying Minor Faction is with «Imperial» it should show «Imperial - Aisling» so you could fight between imperials in a system.

2. Following #1, it could replace current PP missions. Like make this X faction leader of the system to make X faction get the system.

3. Aisling is Imperial, but is against slave or is trying to change stuffs. Would like to find that kind of thing in Minor Factions (if they make #1)

Thx

This is minor but for whatever reason is what is top of my list right now.

When I evade an interdiction for the sake of my nervous passengers, I'd like them to express their appreciation, or at least thank me and in some cases give me a hefty tip.

Aps.
