What GPU do you have in your PC?

XFX R9 290 DD displayed on a LG 34UM57-P at 2560x1080P.

Supersampling set to 1.5 to get the game rates down to sub 75fps) and loving the Freesync capability of it!!!!

GT 750M 1GB VRAM

I think forcing it to play Horizons qualifies as cruel and unusual punishment. The RSPC-GPU are knocking at my door..

Radeon HD 7870.

I've been tempted to upgrade, but I'll wait until summer, when AMD is supposed to release new cards.
At the moment I can't get a real upgrade unless I spend considerably more than what the 7870 was 3 years ago.

GTX 570 1 Gb
in space I have 60 fps ... but on the surface planet (ship / srv) drop to 17-20
I'm planning to upgreade to GTX 970 gaming 4 Gb asap
Just upgraded to GTX 970 gaming 4 Gb :)

Adaptive-sync is a wonderful thing, how did we ever live without it? :D
Until I had the "too fast" (over 75 fps is outside the freesync range) situation, I never bothered even trying it.

Funny how I have to increase the quality to take advantage of a new technology, huh?

Along those lines: Has anyone noticed a fps increase by simply going to a displayport monitor? Coz with my old HDMI monitor I usually ran about 80 - 90 fps at 1920x1080 with the inside of space stations putting me down to 45ish frame rates. When I first fired up ED on the new monitor I was shocked to see my frame rates being reported in the 180 - 200 fps range! And this is with the higher resolution of 2560x1080.

What gives? Not that I am complaining. Just wondering if the display port on R9 cards is a better all around deal than HDMI.

I'm using the FRTC in Radeon Settings set to 75. I will try your idea of bumping up the AA but I'm worried that the FPS on planets will plummet.

Zotac GTX 970 on a 42inch 4K screen playing in 4K resolution. Windows 10.

machine is a 7 year old Dell XPS 8000. Upgraded PSU to XFX 550w and added the GFX card. That's it really.

I can't speak to that since I don't have horizons. I will be interested in your results. If I can convince the wife I need one more present, I will let you know how I fare,,,,

wont be long before i order my second Titan X. altho the main game runs great on 1 titan X.

being on planets in 7680x1440, i get fps drop. and that is unacceptable!!!

R7 260X in crossfire.
Works great with custom settings medium to high.

Looking forward to my upgrade later this year when I can go all out on a new build

All that money and you'd be better putting it into a HMD instead. Your sense of immersion would wonder how you ever survived before.
