It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.![]()
I am not sure about this. I am thinking Durodrive belongs to the Durex product family though.
This thread is to speculate about what is the Duradrive. GalNet has a vague description. It says:
- The Duradrive functioned perfectly
- Zachary Rackham tested a Duradrive by jumping on it
- Rackham used it to contact his chief accountant and authorise preliminary funding for the device.
- It is a superior product (compared to the Torc)
- We can expect to see it on the market soon (likely Q4 update)
How can players use it if we can't walk or jump yet?
Is it a hover board? I thought it would be a HUD customization device.

I was thinking along these lines too. Best to have it when u need it, though.
I wonder if this Rackham is a descendant of Rackham the Red ?
♫ Oh, there once was a pirate named Rackham the Red,
Who came flying to Hutton high on Onionhead... ♪
In an amusing bit of circular gaggery, a riff on that battery brand was originally made by Robert Holdstock in the 1984 Space Traders Flight Training Manual, in reference to the Extra Energy Unit. It's an fsd that's black with a copper coloured top.
