What is your selfish DLC idea?

Idk I'm bored and curious as to what pack ideas you have that 100% cater to you? The pack can be an animal or scenery pack, have whatever animals you want that would be possible in-game (no aquariums or full on aviaries because half of this community would just have one or the other), the animals can have a theme behind them (all European, all primate, all whatever) or just thrown together like a top ten Meta-Wishlist animal pack.
My selfish pack would be North American Avian Animal Pack - Primarily wading birds, waterfowl, and upland birds

1. Great Blue Heron
2. Roseate Spoonbill
3. Common Loon
4. Canada Goose
5. Wood Duck
6. Wild Turkey
7. Greater Roadrunner
8. Ruby-throated Hummingbird (WTE)

Hmm...

The Untitled Pack
  1. Waterbuck.
  2. Sumatran tiger.
  3. Serval.
  4. Geoffroy's spider monkey.
  5. Bolivian squirrel monkey.
  6. Japanese serow.
  7. Raccoon dog.
  8. Tuatara (EX).
Probably a few more NZ plants (would love NZ flax, the pohutakawa tree, kowhai tree, and the NZ white pine). Since it's an animal pack, no scenery, but I'll be cheeky and say the free update comes with my highly-desired chain-link and square mesh building sets (I still cannot believe Frontier hasn't given us that yet, they definitely have the ability; it's basically the glass modern set with a new texture, like come on already).

Anyway, this pack gives me most of what's left to build a proper NZ zoo (waterbuck, tiger, serval, and the two monkeys, and obviously the tuatara and foliage) and two additional species I simply want because doing a fleshed-out Japan section is something I've always wanted (I would have put in the sika deer as well, but I couldn't sacrifice anything else).

Oh if it were just catered me to it would be my top 6 wanted habitat animals and one that's a little lower than that, simply to give Europe one more high profile animal:

Wolverine
Shoebill
Spectacled Bear
Secretary Bird
Mute Swan
Tree Kangaroo (any species)
Patagonian Mara
Wild Boar - this is definitely in my top 15 wants despite not being my 7th most wanted animal, but at the same time I feel like Europe really needs it.
King or Indian Cobra - Exhibit animal. How do we not have a Cobra in game yet???

It's funny that even though I place such a high priority on New World Primates, none of them are actually included here. We just need "more", and while I have a half dozen species I'd like to see, I don't particularly rate any of the species in my top 15 even. So one side of my brain cuts them out of a pack like this while the other side is screaming "but we need more New World Primates!"

So a NZ Zoo essentials pack lol I like it

Oh yeah same here, my example is just like a very specific pack that I recently realized I would love to have. But my other alternative selfish packs would be some sort of ungulate pack, arboreal pack, and maybe a Mountain/highland pack but really those last two would be not just selfish but also probably really popular with most of the community

Pacific Northwest Pack
  • Roosevelt Elk
  • American Black Bear
  • North American Porcupine
  • Mountain Goat
  • Black-Chinned Hummingbird (WE)
  • Anna's Hummingbird (WE)
  • Rufous Hummingbird (WE)
  • Native American building theme
At this point I'm looking for any excuse to include the Roosevelt Elk, even though I know it's far from the most likely animal to get.

Synthetase Wilderness Animal Pack
  • Common Duiker
  • Japanese Serow
  • Wild Boar
  • Musk Ox
  • Southern Pudu
  • Virginia Opossum
  • Ringtail Possum
  • Domestic Pigeon (WE)
The Pigeon's colormorphs would come in leucistic, melanistic and piebald!
If the Musk Ox had colormorphs it would probably be leucistic. I have no idea if that exists or not! I just think it seems pretty.

The update would add (a ton!) of colormorphs. Ideally to most animals in-game. An exampe would be the Wild dog would get: Mostly black mottled coat, Yellow coat with black and white mottling and Piebaldism. At the minimum many animals would get at least leucistic or something.
The update would also add sandbox Genetics toggle so that you could choose if you want more rare variants to come and how good your animals' stats are in the Trade Center.

South America animal pack:
SA coati
Spectacled bear
Greater rhea
Jabiru
Golden lion tamarin
Red footed tortoise
Black howler monkey
scarlet macaw, hyacinth macaw, military macaw, gold and blue macaw and golden parakeet (WE)
(i would still need like, more three dlcs like this to feel satisfied with SA animals, but something like that would already be good)

The treat Linda like a Goddess pack:

1. South American Coati
2. Tanuki
3. Grey Crowned Crane
4. Squirrel Monkey
5. Hamadryas Baboon
6. Gelada
7.Hulman Langur

WE: Two toed Sloth

The treat Linda like a Goddess Update:

All missing shops from Planet Coaster
A free wild west building theme
Decorations from Planet Coaster (e.g. the Dragon)
A vintage merry go round
Animal personalities that effect the zoo management

The farewell Anniversary Update:
American Flamingo
Overhaul of the Lion at the very least, any other base game animal, like Spotted Hyena, Timber Wolf etc. would be much appreciated.
Oh, and fix the god damned Tapir. And give the wild ass a voice.

Look, my list has two birds! I'm not pure evil, who would have thought....

Raccoon Dog love <3 What happened to your bush dog? Not complaining, I prefer the Tanuki.

I actually thought up a pack that'd fit the description of a "selfish DLC" recently, so this thread is pretty well timed! Basically going to complete the holy triad of Australia/Oceania scenery packs - the Australia Pack acted as an introduction to the region, the Oceania Pack expanded upon the lush coastal regions, so why not return to the arid interior for one last pack? After all, we have an entire Desert Oceania map and yet only three habitat animals from Australia's deserts. This pack also serves to hit every one of my remaining essential habitat animals for Australia, namely an echidna, bilby, rock-wallaby and monitor lizard (tree kangaroo is still needed for wider Oceania).

Outback Pack
1. Short-beaked Echidna, Tachyglossus aculeatus (Tropical, Temperate, Grassland, Desert)

2. Greater Bilby, Macrotis lagotis (Grassland, Desert) [Headliner]

3. Yellow-footed Rock-wallaby, Petrogale xanthopus (Grassland, Desert)

4. Perentie, Varanus giganteus (Desert)

5. Inland Taipan, Oxyuranus microlepidotus (Desert) [E]

Outback Theme - An expansion of the Australia theme but with more widely useable and versatile pieces. A lot of them are still rustic, rural and upcycling themed, but the pack also includes some scenery inspired by the Alice Springs Desert Park

New Plants - Probably the main reason this is a scenery pack over an animal pack, I just want as many plants as possible!:
1. Mulga, Acacia aneura (Grassland, Desert) [Free update]

2. River Red Gum, Eucalyptus camaldulensis (Tropical, Temperate, Grassland, Desert) [Free update]

3. Desert Grass Tree, Xanthorrhoea thorntonii (Desert)

4. Boab, Adansonia gregorii (Grassland)

(Although we already have a generic baobab in the game with the Oceania tag, it does not bare much of a resemblance to the iconic boab of the Kimberley. The boab also appeared in concept art for the Australia Pack, so Frontier may have had it in mind at one point)

5. Desert Oak, Allocasuarina decaisneana (Desert)

(May be in the background of the same concept art as the boab, also my favourite tree!)

6. Sturt’s Desert Pea, Swainsona formosa (Grassland, Desert)

New enrichment item:
Wallaby Climbing Cliff - Similar in function to the goat climbing mountain from the Europe Pack, allows the yellow-footed rock-wallaby to realistically bound across a steep slope via an enrichment animation

Soundtrack - Just for fun! Keeping with the trend of recent scenery packs theming each track around a particular animal, with the echidna being left out in this instance due to already having its own track in the base game:
Taipan - The Moon Plain
Rock-wallaby - Rhythm of the Ranges
Bilby - Twisting Burrows
Perentie - King of the Dunes

Small Mammals Animal Pack:
  • Habitat animals
    • Matschie's tree kangaroo (key art)
    • North American river otter
    • Ringtail
    • Kinkajou
    • Cloud rat
    • Black-footed ferret
    • Southern tamandua
  • Exhibit animal
    • Slow Loris
  • Enrichment items
    • Generic/"null" and running stream/river slides
      • Usable by otters, some penguins, and some pinniped
    • Hanging treats
      • Usable by kinkajou, cloud rat, binturong, and tamandua
    • Hanging nests
      • Usable by most climbing small mammals
I know the tree kangaroo is highly-requested so that particular species isn't selfish but... The pack as a whole? Definitely a "small mammal lovers only" kinda dealie.
