The hope that FDEV does something to bring a better multiplayer experience. The possibility that someday they may decide to turn off SOLO or at least prevent mode switching, as I currently feel it breaks the game. I have my limits though. Someday I will likely move on to something else if this game remains close to its current state.

In truth i don't feel like starting the game anymore. I've had a lot of fun but i feel i've reached the limit of what i want to do with the game as it stands. I did some trading in a Lakon 6, some fighting in a Viper and i enjoyed the atmosphere immensely, i still have a good feeling toward the game but it really does need more added for me to start playing again.

I didn't like ED at first, then it won me over and now i'm just waiting for more content. I think part of the problem for a gamer such as myself who likes the personal touch, is the impersonal feel of the missions. There are no randomised faces, it just feels a little cold. i struggle to find things to do to enjoy myself other than cruise at 30kps and jump into unidentified signals, everyhing else is just go and collect, or go and shoot.

I still love the game, it has a special something, but i really need Frontier to flesh it out out more. In it's current form i prefer to just remember the fun i had.

Edit* by the way i don't agree with those who say it's a mile wide and an inch deep. it takes a lot to get to the stage where the ships feel so real and the galaxy is so pretty, ED is either the most promising foundation for a future game that i've ever seen, or it's a terrible waste, because what is there is so good.

Trading. Defending myself against players and or ai pirates.. Got to admit tho. Watching for us fill up with crybaby post that are mainly the results of lack of patience .. Everyone all in a rush...

I started playing X Rebirth (which actually works quite well after a bazillion of patches), because it has more depth/station building/boarding enemy ships/working trading than this game. Perhaps I return when they add more content.

I've a personal goal, plus I find that coming to terms with the mindless tedium of it all presents an interesting challenge.
